Y/n murmured, not knowing what else to say. Athena slowly shook her head.
"It's okay y/n, we all know who's really the stupid one here!"
Apollo's face went red, Y/n was a little confused. What did Athena mean by that?
Y/n frowned at Athena.
"What?.. he's not.."
"Yeah.. this is my fault."
Apollo suddenly walked up to her, he was really shy about stuff like this.. which was why he didn't say anything earlier.
But now he just felt stupid, I mean it was right in front of him that y/n liked him but he still had doubts.
But now wasn't the time to doubt everything, now was the time to come out and say what needed to be said.
"I have something to tell you y/n.."
Athena and trucy both grinned. Y/n began to feel a little anxious, but she smiled and tried to keep calm.
"Yeah?"
Apollo blushed and averted his eyes,
"If that was true, If you do have feelings for me.
I won't be upset hearing about them... m-maybe I might have the same feelings too."
Y/n was shocked, no way this was happening! She had a sudden burst of confidence, now was the time for her to fully confess too. It's not like things could get any worse.
"Apollo.. I really like you.."
Y/n said, suddenly feeling a lot calmer about saying those words.
Apollo smirked and got a little closer,
"I really like you too"

How many years had it taken for this to happen? It didn't even matter anymore,
once the two finally kissed, everything just felt right.
Athena bounced up and down.
"Yayyy!! I'm so happy things worked out!! If they didn't I wouldn't be able to forgive myself!"
Y/n looked over at Athena and raised a brow,
"What..why? It's not your fault that you needed someone to take care of your device."
"Well, actually.. this was all part of my plan! I didn't need someone to take care of it I just wanted you and Apollo to be together! Which is also why I kicked down the door..."
She stated proudly, Y/n's smile faded.
"this was all Your PLAN!?"
Trucy came up to her and put a hand on her shoulder,
"Hey don't worry, you'll be able to get back at her one day.. I'm sure of it!"
Y/n couldn't stay too mad, if this whole situation never happened. She would of never told Apollo how she felt, in a way she was pretty thankful.
But that didn't mean she wasn't gonna give her the payback she deserved.
"Well y/n, why don't we go on a date?"
Apollo asked, smiling brightly. Y/n nodded and held his hand.
"Of course!"
"Alright, come on! I know the perfect place!"
The two walked away, softly laughing and talking to each other about the things they couldn't talk about before.
Phoenix was shocked, and happy for them of course.. but they just left while they were supposed to be working.
"... seriously? They do know they can't just leave like that don't they?"
Trucy smirked and rolled her eyes.
"Oh come on daddy! It's not like you and mister edgeworth don't act all lovey while you should be working!"
"w-wh!? TRUCY!"
Athena crossed her arms,
"I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree.. Phoenix and maya obviously have a deeper connection."
"Really Athena!?"
"seriously!? Him and edgeworth have been friends since elementary school!"
"Please stop.."
"Yeah keyword, friends!"
