I poked my food over and over again, not in the mood the eat

Carl already had eaten his food and was upstairs talking to Zach through my phone

I get up and throw my food away
I walk upstairs and into my room where Carl was

"Hey b" he said smiling

"Hi Brightly!" Zach screamed through the phone

I sit on the bed and grab my diary

"Are you gonna write secret love letters now?" Carl said smirking

"No carl, Never"

I grab my favorite pen which is Yellow with a duck on the top

Yes, i love ducks

I open my diary to a new page and put the date at the top

"Hey brightly?"
"Yes Zach?"

"How you feeling after Daniel and his stupid self?"
"Better, im not worrying about that right now.."
i lied, i was definitely worrying about that

"Ok"

I turn back to my diary and write
'I hate myself'
And start writing from there

"B! Stop writing, you've been there for Atleast an hour and a half!" Carl screamed

"Sorry!"

I close my diary and put it away
"What do you want to do?"

"Can we listen to Why Don't We?"
"No Carly"

"Lets atleast listen to 8 letters, they told you to listen to it!"

"No, i don't care, i don't wanna listen to them"
"Come on, Please!"

"No Carl, we've already been to their house, no more!"

"Please! Its Only This Song, I Promise!" He screamed

"Ok Fine! Hurry" i huff, i cant believe im doing this

He smiles and turns on my TV
He goes on youtube and searches up '8 letters'
As soon as it pops up he puts it on

I look at my brother and back at the TV

Opening and Closing up again i been hurt so i don't trust
Now here we are staring at the ceiling

Damn, i didn't know this song was so deep
And it matches me perfectly, i cant trust for shit

I said those words before but it was a lie
And you deserve to hear them a thousand times

If all it is is 8 letters why is it so hard to say?
