The team slowly rolls into the 21st. They're all working on their own paperwork, trying to catch up before they catch a new case.

"There's been an abduction, 23 west fifth st. We roll out in 5," voight says.

The team nods and heads to the garage to suit up and head to the scene.

"These are the parents, Mr and Mrs. Turner." Officer Pow said.
"Tell me what happened this morning," Burgess says.
"We woke up this morning and noticed both of our daughters bedroom doors were open. Which is strange because they always keep them close and are late sleepers. I went into Andrea's room and that's when I saw the window was broke, the blankets were all messed up and no Andrea. I ran to check on Brie and everything on her desk was knocked on the floor," Mr.Turner explains.
"Do you know what time this was?" Dawson asks.
"Yeah about 645, I wake up everyday at the same time," Mr. Turner explains.
"Did either of you hear anything at all during the night?" Burgess asks.
"No we didn't! Why are you questioning us instead of finding our daughters?" Mrs. Turner yells.
"Ma'am this is part of the process I promise. We're trying to build a timeline, but I promise you that my team and I will do everything we can to find your girls," Kim says.

Her and Dawson walk back to the rest of the team and begin to fill them in on what the Turners told them.

"I think it's strange that they didn't hear anything. Mr.Turner said glass was broke and everything was knocked of one of the desks. The girls put up a fight and yet their parents heard nothing," Kim says.
"Burgess, you and Adam are going to stay with the parents and see what you can find out from their reactions the rest of the day. Just say you're staying Incase of a random call, they clearly have money. Antonio you look through security camera footage. Jay and Hailey start digging through the girls life. Atwater, you and me are going to shake down some CIs," Voight states.

They all nod and head off on their perspective ways.

"Mr and Mrs. Turner, this is my partner Officer Adam Ruzek. We're going to be staying with you guys to see if the kidnappers make a ransom call. The rest of our team is doing everything they can to track your daughters down," Kim says.
"Call us Mark and Jane. There won't be a ransom call," Mark says.
"Why do you say that sir?" Adam asks.
"I just know," he responds.
"Can you explain that more?" Kim asks.
"Mark, don't be silly we have money. These officers are just doing their job," Jane says.

Mark heads off to his study and Jane follows him. Turning to smile at Kim and Adam.

"I now know what you mean about them seeming off," Adam says.
"It's like Mark knows more than he's letting on," Kim says.
"I agree. Let's play along for now and see if they give us any information, if we act like we believe them.," Adam says.
"Alright," Kim says nodding in agreement.

Kim starts to walk away to help the tech guys set up incase of a ransom call. Adam grabs her by the arm to stop her.

"Just watch your back around them, okay?" Adam tells her.
"I will. You too," Kim says.

She stares at his hand still on arm before walking away. She almost forgot what his touch felt like. Things have been a bit better since their locker room talk. She just wishes they could sit down and talk everything out.
