*NIGHTMARE POV*
How... HOW DID THEY RAN AWAY!?!? Remember, Nightmare.... Wait... There was a portal and the one who was helping them was...CROSS!?!? ANYBODY BUT HIM!?!? I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN HE UNDERSTOOD MY PLAN!!! He is so gonna regret this! My soul hurts.... Alot... Wait- Dont tell me I'm heart-broken!? Nah, I cant feel love for him. Not after all of this! These were all fake! Right...?... I looked at Dream, he was yelling swears at the air. I kinda know how he was the protector of positive emotions. I looked at my hand, it was injured so I healed it ( ya know he is gloomy soo he can repair or something? I dunno) "Come on, we are going back, Cross betrayed us" It hurt when I said his name... Ugh, wonderful, now his smile is stuck in my mind. I opened a portal and we went in. Everyone was surprised to see us. "They escaped" Fell went back from the basement, "CROSS ISNT HERE DAMMIT" i looked down and sighed, " He betrayed us..." Then I went to my room. "UGH! THAT" I sighed again. Tears fell down before I could realize. "That..." I wiped away my tears. But more came. I wiped them away again. But more came again. I started to cry. "That heart-breaker..." I went over to my desk and started to make a new plan. Maybe... when they are all sleeping, I can kill Cross and- wait no,no,no! I dont even know where they are! Ugh! Everything is so fucked up... I gave up a looonnnngggggg siiiggghhhhhh in annoyance. I got up and opened a portal to X-tale. (That's the AU, right? God, I gotta watch underverse again -_-) It was quite. Alone. Empty. This was the first place I met Cross. I still remember the day like yesterday...

I sat down for a while. Then SIGHED.(He sure does sigh much) I opened a portal to Outertale. This is where he confessed to me...
*FLASHBACK*
Me and Cross were sitting at the grass,relaxed. I looked at Cross, he was staring at me, then he yelped and said sorry. "Sometings off with you today, Cross. You ok bud?" He looked at me surprised. Then got up. "N-nightmare!" "Yeah?" "C-can I tell you something?" He started to sweat badly. "Sure!" He took a deep breath and yelled. "I-I LIKE YOU! I LIKE YOU IN THE ROMANTIC WAY!!!" I blushed and didnt know what to do. Is this love? Whatever he might be useful to me. I got up and kissed him. I let go of him and answered, "That's my answer." Then he started to blush deeply. Then hugged me. It felt good but, I'm not letting the 'love' get in my way.
*PRESENT DAY (dat was emotional D':*
I wish I accepted my love for him that day...But nooooo My life HAS to be bad! I started to feel negative emotions nearby. I went there. And started to hear sobbing. When looked there, my eyes winded... "Cross...?..."
*CROSS POV(a lil bit before)*
I wanted to be relaxed,so I yelled in Inks house, "IM GOING OTSIDE A BIT!" Then I went to Outertale.But,after looking at the sky, and the place,I remembered... This is where I confessed to Nightmare. I couldnt hold my tears back so I started to cry. Why did he use me? Did he really hate me?
Did I made a mistake by leaving them? Am I worth to live a good life? Why me? Why? Why? Wh- a voice cut off my thoughts...
"Cross...?..." Nightmare... I looked back in suprise. Nightmare was standing there. "What? Are you here to use my 'love' or use my LOVE!?" I yelled ag him. He just stood there. How dare he!? He just uses my phone love and LOVE then NOTHING! Finnaly, he said something. But something unbelievable... "I'm sorry, Cross... I really do love you! I understand now!..." I gave him a shocked look. " Oh, are you serious? ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!? YOU USED ME LIKE I WAS YOURE PUPPET TO PLAY FEELINGS WITH BUT NOOOOOO YOURE 'SORRY' NOW!? HA! HOW NORMAL!!!" More tears fell down. C tried to calm me down while I was panicking. "CROSS, I REALLY AM SORRY!! I KNOW YOU STILL LOVE ME!!" When he said 'you still love me' everything stopped. I started to feel dizzy and fell on Nightmare... "Tell me...." I mumbled. "Do you REALLY love me? By youre heart? If you lie, I won't EVER forgive you..." he sighed and kissed my forehead. (Cross is shorter k?) "I do love you, Crossy...By my heart..." I started to cry, happy tears. C smiled at us. We didnt let go fo eachother for a while. Then I let go of him. " What am I supposed to do, Night? What am I gonna tell them?" He looked away for a while then looked at me. "Maybe go tell them that... We are together again...?..." I sighed. "Nightmare... Can't we just end the war? What are we fighting for? Error and Ink are together now, so I dont think Ink will create and Error will destroy since it hurts eachother. So why? For Dream's revenge? Why do you wanna help him? Tell me Nighty,why?" He was shocked after those words. He started to think about it. "I... I guess you're right but... Who will believe us?" I sighed and started to think about it. Then I remembered Ink and the others trusts me and the others trust Nighty. "Maybe we can call Ink and the others here then explain to them. Then after that we can do the same thing to the gang I guess?" He looked at me with suprise. Guess this WAS awkward cuz I never come up with plans. It's usually Nighty "Yean, let's do that... Its gonna be so weird tho..." I giggled and opened a portal to Ink's house. "Aw, come on! Its gonna be just fine!" And I hopped in.
So... That's how it is...
