THE WORLD WASN'T ALWAYS like this. At least, I don't think it was. In the government issued history textbooks I have read during my school years, the text always claims how the country used to be the United States of America and how all citizens were equal and had actual freedom. Kids used to go to fun public schools where they learned basic subjects that would prepare them for college instead of learning how to kill someone in thousands of different ways and brainwashing them all to believe that the way things were under the ELITES government was the best way things could ever get. Under the ELITES control, life was supposed to be better and amazing. At least, that's what the leaders promised when they rose to power.
Life was not better and amazing.
The ELITES rose to power a little over a hundred years ago right after World War III finally ended. It had been a hard and long battle, and American citizens were scared and looking for answers and leadership. The transition happened slowly, and the leisurely rate at which freedoms disappeared caused citizens to just continue to cave and give up one small freedom at a time for the 'greater good.'
The history books claim that the USA had it all wrong.
I think they had it all right.
