Red String [Mina] Part 2

"I gotta head back inside Y/N. Don't worry. Leave Bambam to me." Y/N nodded her head.

"Thanks, Joonie. I owe you one." She said giving Namjoon a fist bump before she turned her gaze on me again.

"Y/N... I—"

"I thought you're going home at exactly 11pm? And what time is it already? It's past 12AM for fuck's sake Mina! You're supposed to be home an hour ago! You're lucky Namjoon and his group are there! Do you have any idea what Bambam could do to you if Namjoon wasn't there and didn't call me?! Do you have any idea what would've been the outcome if I didn't got here on time?!"

All I could do was look down. I feel so guilty right now. I heard her sigh. "Give me your keys." I looked at her in confusion.

"No way I'm letting you drive. You're not sober enough to drive. Now. Keys."

I didn't even bother to argue with her and just gave her my keys.

"But what about your bike? Momo, Sana and IU unnie?"

"Taehyung will take it back to the house tomorrow. As for the three girls, Jungkookie drove them home already. Get in." And just like a little kid, I followed her order right away.

The whole ride home was silent. No one broke the silence among us. The only noise inside the car is the engine and our breathing. I glanced at her and saw her expression starting to soften. I've never seen her that mad before and she even publicly called me her wife. The thought of her calling me her wife made me smile.

The moment we arrived home, she immediately went out the car and opened the door for me. And I immediately headed inside. I was about to bid her goodnight when she suddenly grabbed my hand making me hiss a bit. That's where we both realized that I got a little injury due to Bambam's brute strength earlier.

"W-What is it?" I asked nervously. But instead of answering me, she dragged me to her room. I wanna stop her but I'm too tired already so I just let her.

"Wait here." She said as she put me on her bed. Right there and then, I saw something on her bed side table that shocked me. It was a picture of me and her when we were still kids. I know it is because I have the same exact copy of this photo. I took the frame and take a closer look. It has a note on the back of the frame.

'My beloved Sharon ❤️ I will wait for you and I won't love anyone else until you're back. ~ your Y/N/N' and I saw the red string that I gave him before I left. She still have this too.

"That's a picture of me and the girl I loved for so long. Her name is Sharon." I snapped out of my trance when I saw her walking over to me. I immediately put the frame back and she sat beside me, holding a bandage.

"Is that the main reason why you never want to agree to this whole arranged marriage situation?" I asked and she nodded.

"I made a promise to Sharon. I promised her that I won't love anyone else aside from her. I promised her that I will wait until she gets back. And now that this happened, I guess I broke my promise to her. She'll probably hate me for breaking a pro—" I didn't let her finish. I just grabbed her by her shirt and captured her lips on mine.

"No you didn't, Y/N/N." I whispered as I cut off our kiss. She looked surprised when I called her by the pet name I made just for her.

"W...w...what? How did you know that name? Only Sharon and I knows about that name." She still looked surprised.

"That's because I am Sharon you idiot. I just had to change my name into Mina to keep a low profile. Everyone thinks that I'm just an adopted daughter of my father due to my name. I'm glad you didn't forget about me." Every single hate that I felt for her was just because I thought wrong. Was just because I thought she forgot about me and her promise.

"I...is that really you Sharon?" She can't believe what she's hearing. I chuckled and nodded.

"T-that gummy smile and adorable laugh. It really is you." I see tears forming in her eyes.

"I'm home Y/N/N and I'm not leaving again." I captured her lips again and this time she kissed back.

"I love you, my Sharon."

"I love you too, my Y/N/N~"

And we both smiled at each other.
