STELLA POV

My thoughts begin to pummel me from left right and centre. I know there is a possibility that I might be overreacting because I am his mate, but I can not help but develop a little bit of self doubt.

I'm always confident about my curvy frame, but the way that women was built was like.... like.....she was made for him.

My wolf whimpered at the thought.

"It may be his sister or cousin" my wolf added in.

So giving my mate the benefit of a doubt I push away all my negative thoughts and repeat the words "I'm beautiful just the way I am" over and over.

Reaching my car I lean my body on the side of the car and take a moment to just...contain myself. As I begin to enter the car I hear giggling and laughter.
Raising my head I catch a glimpse of colton carrying the beautiful women in red heels, in his arms. I suppose holding her would have not affected me if he wasn't Holding her from under her knees and holding her close to his chest.
Tears begin to form in my eyes and slowly they begin to stubbornly fall down my face.

They looked so beautiful together. Her head in his neck, They just screamed power couple.

As I get into the driver's seat Colton's eyes meet my own.
Trying to untangle the woman from his arms, he attempts to make his way to me but I step on the accelerator and drive away.

"Mine?" my wolf whimpered

I don't know Stella

COLTON POV

Torture

That's how I would describe my day.
Maybe giving my mate an office directly in front of mine wasn't one of my brightest ideas. But having her near me kept me and my eager wolf a little calm.
The whole day I have been stuck on my chair because my uh.....soldier refuses to go down.
Every time she walks, talks and even the way she sits turns me on. That little minx probably knows what she is doing.

My control has never been tested so much in my life.The way her hips swayed as she purred my name was the last straw. I was two seconds away from getting up and fcking her over my desk until my view was blocked from my door being shut.

Who in th-

"Hey Giant!"

Only one person calls me that. Looking up my eyes connect with another set of soft eyes.

"Adiela!" Getting up I run up to her and wrap my arms around her tiny frame

"It has been a while" She says escaping my grip.

"Guess what" Adiela says while looking up at me

"what?" I say as we make our way downstairs and into the car park.

"I found a mate!"

"Thats amazing! let's celebrate with some ice-cream"

"Just like old times" she says while shaking her head

"Just like old times"

Picking her up we begin to head towards the car while she becomes a giggling mess. Although she sounds silly, her laugh as always, catches on. So I can't help myself but join along.
As we near the car park my eyes drift to a lone car (besides mine). Curious of who could possibly be here still , my eyes roam around the window of the car until my eyes connect with the tear stained cheeks of my mate and then her eyes.

My heart cracks at the thought of Stella being upset. But why is she upset?

Feeling the heaviness on my arms I look down at Adiela. Realizing what my mate must be thinking I try to let go of Adiela but since she doesn't realize, her grip remains tight. After a second I manage to get out of her hold and attempt to run towards Stella's car, but before I can reach her she drives away.

Watching her car fade into the distance almost caused my heart to stop functioning.

"Mate" my wolf whimpered

Adiela was saying something but all I could focus on were my wolfs whimpers.

Running back into the building and into my office I grab stella's job file and copy her address into my phone.

Not wasting a single breath I run down stairs and into my car.
Whilst in my car I look around and realize that Adiela is nowhere to be seen. I know I will receive an earful of it later but pushing it to the back of my mind I start the car and drive out of the lot.

After less than half an hour of driving I reached Stella's house well apartment. Getting out of the car I stand outside her porch. Taking a deep breath I knock on the door. I probably waited a good five minutes before I knocked again.
Hearing shuffling behind the door, I look up just as the door opens. My eyes meet the person in front of me and my wolf immediately begins to rise to the surface.
