8. Singularity

Oh this boy, can he like stop for a freaking second? I bet not.

"Don't you think you should join our drama club?" I said with a taunting tone.

"I ain't a drama queen, y'know," he replied with a little frown acting like he's offended.

"Yeah, I know you aren't. You're actually the drama king," I retorted.

"Meany," the boy did pout.

"Class, silence please!" I heard one of our professor shouting. I didn't realise when the break was over and teacher entered. I do really get lost in my world too freaking much sometimes.

During the class, we just listened and noted down the lectures silently. After one and half hours, the class ended.

Now it's debating class. It's not a compulsory subject. But still we've to stay in the debating club as audiences, if we don't participate.

I don't understand why we need to learn debate. Like I do get that it's important for few life purposes. But why there should be a class for this?

I'm getting bored here. Yugyeom seems like enjoying the debate. I noticed that Taehyung has participated in debating. The boy doesn't have anything good to do with his time. That's why he is here.

Today's debate topic is 'Albert Einstein has more contributions in science than Sir Issac Newton'.

It's a bullshit. Newton is the best. Of course, Einstein has a lot of contributions but Newton has more. That crazy genius has stepped almost in all the branches of science while Einstein mainly focused on physics.

Actually, They both are great in their own ways. So it's stupid to argue over it. But Newton got my biased side. I'm contradicting my own opinion. Sorry but not sorry. Anyway, main point is debating is useless.

I ain't really paying any attention to the debate. Can I plug my ear buds please? Unfortunately not. Taehyung is in the advocating team. This bitch. Now I hate him more. How can he not agree that Newton is the greatest.

"Hey, which team are you supporting?" Yugyeom suddenly asked me.

"None of them," I replied with an irritated tone.

"Oh, but don't you think Taehyung's team is going to be the winner?" he asked, still engrossed in the debating session.

"I don't care. But I think no one can beat Newton," I said the last part dreamily.

"Yeah, I agree. But Taehyung's team is giving strong logics to defend Einstein. So they'll be the winner for sure," he said happily.

"Stop cheering for Taehyung's team. You're my friend. So taehyung is your enemy," I said perching my eyes at Taehyung.

"But why? Is Taehyung your enemy?" Yugeoum asked with a frown.

"Hell, yeah. I despise him."

"You just met him yesterday, right? How can he be your foe in a short amount of time? Or do you have any previous issue to be mad at him?" Yugyeom bombarded me with questions.

"Yeah, I did meet him only yesterday. But I don't know I have an itchy feeling whenever I see him or talk to him. I don't want to feel like this. I better ignore him.

"He gives me an unknown vibe. So that's why I do hate Taehyung," I explained. I can't believe that I just spilled my feelings for Taehyung to Yugyeom. But he's my friend. So I can trust him.

Yugyeom just nodded. He didn't ask me any further question. I'm happy that he understood me like a good friend would do.
