It could have been bright white light

But it felt so cold and my body was out of sight.

The rare moments I did gain visual

The world around me was plainly unusual.

Sky. Ground. Sky. Ground. Sky. Ground.

My body was tumbling recklessly.

But I seemed to be in one moment endlessly.

Time stretching across and beyond the borders of the universe.

The same minute, replaying in reverse.

Sky. Ground. Sky. Ground. Sky. Ground.

Eventually, my body hit the water beneath me

I smiled to myself- I was where I wanted to be.

I emerged through the sheer surface to the sound of laughter

I climbed back up the rock only to leap down faster.
