I narrow my vision, attempting to catch a horizon

My sight is lost in this vastness. I am blind to what it lies in.

I am stolen by some  floating orbs, vivid and colourful.

They glow from the light behind, my eyes cant resist their pull.

Few orbs so colossal, I can hardly see their form.

Several so little and shining white, they must make the fragments of a snow storm.

The everlasting blackness stretches along with time.

Everything moves in light years, yet I sit here, in stillness; I wonder if it's a crime.

I feel the quiet , seeping into my bones. My legs swinging over my land's edge.

The ground beneath me silver at night and vanished by day; this Moon's only pledge.

My skin is barred to everything knowledge knows, yet nothing grazes my skin.

Only the light from the distant galaxy and places only space has been.

From up here, I see everything. I see everywhere. I see everyone. I see it all.

I lean back slightly, waiting patiently for the day I watch this universe fall.
