Icy tingles wrapped itself up my limbs like climbing vines
The stars shone above, a dull silver
The bright lights from beneath the surface glimmer over.
My fingers trembled above the blue, I shivered
Every step made me want to go three back.
But I was in waist deep, the water got warmer, the wind got quieter.
I could see the reflection of my face now
It was pale yellow from the glow of the bulbs , the wavy surface of blue making patterns on my face.
I walked in further, every step ice cold, making me warmer.
Each step was bolder now, each step was more determined.
as my face broke the surface of the water, it all went blue.
It was so quite it felt like forever.
I could only hear blue.
I could only see blue.
I could only feel blue.
I felt alive amidst the blue.
