Chapter Four - Accident

"I do. I like Francisco." I said without hesitation. "I like him as a person."

Umiling-iling ito ng napakaraming beses. Sometimes I can't help but to think that she's weird. She loves overreacting.

"No. But you have a boyfriend! You have Roone. How could you like someone like Ventorillo?!" Bulong iyon pero may diin niyang sabi.

"I repeat, Ms. Aragon, I like him as a person. Not in a away you are thinking." Gosh. Is she even listening?

While we are in the middle of conversation, Cisco entered the room. As usual, tinitignan na naman siya ng mga babae sa classroom. Maayos na ang schedule naming mga students. Thnak God, Jasie will be my classmate sa lahat ng mg subject. Sama as Cisco, we have the same subjects. 

"You better be sure. Roone is already a good catch. Tanga ka nalang kung papakawalan mo pa siya."

"I know. Wala naman akong balak na pakawalan pa siya."

Natapos ang first at second subject namin at nasa cafeteria kami ngayon. I saw Cisco with two guys who I think are scholars like him. Sila ang kasabay niya ngayon. Good for him. Kasi for the past days lagi siyang walang kasabay kumain. He's so lonely.

Roone texted me earlier saying that he wants to meet me after class. Mukhang siningit niya talaga ako sa hectic schedule niya. Hindi naman ako ganito ka clingy dati. I would understand if he couldn't spare some time for me. But lately I am always dying to see him. Siguro dahil noong bakasyon ay siya lagi ang kasama ko kaya hinahanap ko ngayon ang presensya niya.

After naming kumain ay agad kaming bumalik sa classroom para sa aming susunod na subject. Pero nalaman namin na nagkaroon ng emergency ang aming professor kaya may inutusan siyang estudyante para sabihin sa amin na pag-usapan by partners ang ginagawang documentary paper.

Ilan sa mga mag partners ay wala pa halos nagagawa kaya kita mong nagrurush ang ilan ngayon kabilang na doon si Jasie at kanyang ka partner. Buti nalang talaga ay tapos na kaming mag interview ni Cisco.

And because our room is full of different noises, Cisco and I chose to finalize our paper at the library. I brought my laptop with me para ma-type na rin.

While we were walking, I noticed the kind of look that the girls are giving to Cisco. There eyes are full of adoration for this man beside me. I glanced at Cisco to see his reaction but he was just walking with his head down. Nakabulsa ang kaliwang kamay niya habang kanan naman ay hawak ang strap ng kanyang bag. He was wearing a gray V-neck shirt and a black pants. It was just a simple outfit but he gave it justice.

Sana nakikita niya ang binibigay na attention sa kanya ng mga tao. Because from my point-of-view, he seems belittling himself. He should be proud that a lot of people are admiring him, iyon nga lang hindi niya talaga pinapansin ang mga tao sa paligid niya.

"Hi, Francis!" Napatingin ako sa babaeng nasa harap namin ngayon. It was Amy. At last, nagtaas din ng ulo si Cisco. "Bukas pala you can start working na."

So the rumor was true. Nag-offer pala talaga ng trabaho si Amy kay Cisco. Hindi naman sa minamasama ko iyon, I'm actually happy for him. It's just that, it was Amy who offered the job.

"Uh, oo. Nakatanggap nga ako ng text galing sa manager." Sabi naman ni Cisco sabay ngiti kay Amy. I saw Amy's eyes twinkled. She really do like him, huh?

"I'll start visiting the shop everyday," Amy said. I rolled my eyes, as far as I know Amy hates the aroma of coffee. "So I could check on you."

Tumango naman si Cisco at ngumiti ulit! I think he also likes her. Eh, kasi naman yung ngiting binigay niya kay Amy, iba. "Salamat ulit sa pagtulong sa akin. Malaking bagay 'to para sa kin." Nagpahawak pa siya sa kanyang batok. He looks like a high school boy who got a chance to talk to his crush right now. "'Wag kang mag-alala, I will give my hundred percent."
