I sat there in front of the bright blazing hot fire that light up the beautiful starry night. I really had no idea why I had decided to come out here and relax. It may have been the wonderful night sky that had drawn me out here. I have always loved coming out here on summers night back then when I was just a youngling. It has been for ever since I have visited my home town. I really missed Santa Cruz, especially the beach. The calming sounds of the waves as they crashed and crashed. The sweet soft sand in between my toes. In all honesty I'm so grateful to be back. All of a sudden a loud noise came from my phone and snapped me out of my thoughts. I grabbed my phone and instantly shut off my noisy alarm in hopes I woke no one up. I checked the time remembering why I had set my alarm. The time was about 1:00 am and tomorrow I have a long day a head of me. I got up and made my way up the path to my cosy house ready to head to bed. Tomorrow I had planned a party to meet up with my old friends from when I was young. My good friend Jihyo that I met while I was previously living in Boston helped me plan it. Anyways I entered my large sized house and locked everything up. I made my way to my bedroom and tucked myself into bed. I wrapped my arms around the waist of the figure next to me; jihyo. I laid there and my eyes started to close slowly. Next I knew everything was black and I was sound asleep.
NEXT DAY 5:00 AM
I lifted my upper body out of bed and looked around. I checked my phone to see the time and it was around 5:00 am. My head whipped around and looked down next to me to see an empty spot in my bed. A frown formed on my face, and then suddenly I heard someone or something. I hopped out of bed and went into the kitchen. There I saw Jihyo, my good friend cooking breakfast for us.
"Hey Jihyo. What you making?" I said in a quite tone that was caused by being tired.
"Just some oatmeal and fruit." Jihyo turned her head to face me as a smile formed on her face.
I smiled lightly as Jihyo placed my food down on the table next to me. My tired legs dragged me to the table. I pulled out the chair and sat down waiting for Jihyo. Jihyo got her food and took a seat across from me at the light brown table. I flashed a small smile at Jihyo before I went down and started to eat my oatmeal and fruit. As soon as the food had entered my mouth I swear I could feel my face light up with delight.
"Wow Jihyo unnie it tastes so good!~" I said with a mouth full of food.
Jihyo laughed as she swallowed her food. "Good to know you like!"
I quickly finished my food and got up to then place my dirty dished into the sink. "So Jihyo is this where the party will be held?" I asked as I washed my food covered dishes.
"Well the invitations said to meet on the beach... so everyone will probably be there by the bonfire." Jihyo said as she looked out the backdoor down to the beach.
"Oh well ok! I think I'm going to go out for a bit and explore the town. Maybe I'll get a nice outfit! I don't know, but I'll see you later." I waved bye to Jihyo and went to my room to change into more appropriate clothing. I changed into a nice comfortable outfit.

I then grabbed my things and headed out the front door.
