Is it just me?
with my heart
In my hands
beating to the
rhythm
of my voiceless
anxieties.
Is it just me?
holding in
my tears
with all my will
and fears
that i am afraid
would make me
inhumane.
Is it just me?
jumping from
foot to foot
not knowing where to step next,
terrified of moving
forward,
and more so
of leaving the past behind.
Is it just me?
or i only think
it is me?
cause people
don't talk
while they walk
down the dreary path
of doom.
Unlike me,
who'd rather
say out loud
what i feel
than sink
in the
myriad of sounds.
