You smile back and then leave to go to the bathroom...

"Is there a way to undo that?" You ask, laughing slightly at the sadness of the situation

"Not happening," You say firmly, "That basically means I'm dead"
Well... I mean... you could absorb the life force of an immortal spirit and live forever as well, but those immortals are pretty strong... they would even give YOU a run for your money...
"I would also need that sacred gear that absorbs life force" You mutter to yourself

You turn suddenly and see a new face. (plot convenienceeeeeeeee!!!! its lovely ami rite?)
"I'm Akari" A blue-hared girl says with a devious smile. "Sorry for intruding in on you while your in the bathroom, but I couldn't help but hear you talking to yourself" She says while smirking
"I was talking to-" You begin but then stop when you realize it would be hard to believe
"Nevermind..." you finish
She chuckles slightly
"So how could you 'help' me?" You ask trying to get to the point
She looks at you with a devilish smirk. "I have that absorption sacred gear you need. I can absorb magic energy as well as life energy," She says
"Okay, then all I need is to see it in action and I'll copy it-"
"Not so fast..." She interrupts you, "A demon like you with a lot of power has something to offer, yeah?"
'She wants me to do something for her?' You think to yourself
She moves closer to you and you step further into the bathroom. In one swift movement she closes the door. You try to protest but then suddenly feel weaker and you to fall into the bathtub.
"If I let you copy my sacred gear... you have to promise me... that you'll save Alex" She says, her voice suddenly growing serious
"He... he's going to be in a lot of trouble soon..." She looks away to finish her sentence "and he won't be able to get out of it himself"
"WAIT A DARN FRICKIN' MINUTE" You say as you get up
"I get that you are close with Alex or whatever, but I'm not even sure I want your sacred gear." You begin, "I have to figure out what Alex is up to before I try to absorb an immortal spirit"
You finish speaking but Akari didn't seem to be listening, tears are swelling up in her eyes and you can't help but feel bad for her.
"Don't worry... I'll save him" You hug her, even if you're not quite sure why he's in danger you'll save him...
"T-Thanks" Akari says, "I see why all those girls like you" she says her head still nestled into your chest since you're still hugging
"If I'm not careful I may fall into the same trap..." She whispers to herself and you pretend not to hear
"Y/N are you in here?" Rias says, knocking on the door
"YEP!" You yell nervous she may think somethings going on
Akari, startled by Rias' jumps into you causing you both to fall into the bathtub
"aaaaah" Akari squeals
"FUCK I HATE PLOT CONVENIENCE" You yell as Rias knocks down the door, obviously furious with you

You laugh as the thought enters and leaves your brain, half wishing Rias could send the image she sees telepathically over to you
"What were you two doing?" Rias says
"Well..." You begin

You are all sitting around a huge table with Alex's household on one side and Rias' on the other. Luckily, Rias believed your story about the whole 'Akari incident'...
"So, Alex... why did you forfeit the rating game so easily?" Rias asks
'wow, very smooth' you think as Alex's expression changes from a relaxed one to a more defensive one
"I promised my household some fun after... I didn't want to be all tired or else I wouldn't be able to fulfill my duties" Alex says smirking widely
Rias rolls her eyes. You can tell from the look on the faces of the girls in Alex's household that what he just said was a complete bluff.
Akari whispers across the table to you: "he can't even survive 5 minutes in bed"
Both you and Akari laugh which causes everyone to look at you
Both of you stop laughing due to your embarrassment.
"Anyways," Rias gets back on track, "Even if that was the case, you've never forfeited a rating game before"
"Why not just tell us the real reason for forfeiting the rating game?" You interrupt
Alex's gaze averts to you and you can see how nervous he is.
'man he's dumb. what did he think we invited him over for?' you think to yourself
Something inside of him seemed to snap and all of a sudden tears stream down his face: "I had no choice" he cried, "Vali... he forced me into it!"
Everyone in Alex's household, including himself, seem to have a face full of guilt. But, you and Rias still aren't quite sure of what he is saying.
"Wait, what happened?" Rias said confused
"What did Vali force you to do?" You say seriously
Without warning, a deafening bang goes off and demon 'police' or whatever they call them come through the door shouting.
"VALI! GET ON THE FLOOR! YOU ARE BEING PUT UNDER ARREST FOR TREASON!"
through the ringing of your ears you see Vali getting picked up and carried off.
"that escalated very quickly!" you scream
But after the moment ends you see Akari's eyes filled with tears.
'I may have just broken a promise' you think
