Forgotten Love (HighSchool DxD Fan-Fic) (Rias x Male Reader)

Chapter 2

Rias POV

I was in the middle of explaining Issei's Sacred Gear to Issei when I hear a knock on the club's door, 

"Excuse me," I say while walking towards the door, I'll admit I feel a familiar presence on the outside of the door

'Who is it?' I ask myself puzzled,

I walk towards the door and open it up

"Hi who is......" I begin, but stop shocked at who I'm staring at,

 he says something to me but I can't make out what he says, in fact, I can't hear anything.

"Well, I came back! You don't seem excited..." He says the last part in a way that stings me

"NO NO, I'm excited!" I say frantically trying to make him feel better

"I know, I know, I'm five minutes late.... It's hard to be exactly on time when you make a promise two years in advance" he says sarcastically with a huge smirk on his face,  causing me to smile 

"Y/N, you got to remember a lot much has changed," I say, but what I really mean is that we shouldn't jump into things, 

"What do you mean?" he asks more serious this time, concern is written across his face

"I just think we should take things slow, Ok?" 

"Sure, I mean if that's what you want" I can see the disappointment flash across his face, but it's only there for a brief second and then is replaced by a goofy smile

"Who's at the door Rias?" I can hear Issei as he walks closer to me

"Who's that?" Y/N asks me, you can see the jealousy pouring out of him, which kind of makes me smile

"Its just Issei, my servant," I say trying to calm him down

Issei walks closer towards the door, with a curious look in his eyes,

"Who's that?" Issei asks me quietly, trying to avoid Y/N from hearing 

" Y/N meet Issei, and Issei meet Y/N," I say introducing them

"Is he a........" Issei starts but I cut him off

"Not exactly," I say back

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!! YOU'RE REALLY KEEPING ME IN THE DARK HERE!!" He yells 

"Whoa, calm down Issei," Y/N says calm and composed reaching out his hand for a handshake

"Oh yeah............. sorry bout' that" quickly changing his expression, as if he is embarrassed 

"Anyway Y/N come in, we can talk more inside," I say ushering Y/N inside

Y/N POV

As you walk into the clubhouse, you can see all of the stunned faces of the OCR members

"Y-Y/N?" Akeno gasps

You decide to sit beside Akeno and Koneko, Koneko rests her head on your shoulder in attempt to snuggle closer to you

"Koneko! You can't have him all to yourself!" Akeno says while she scoots closer and bear hugs you

"Girls!" Rias yells at the girls fighting over you, "He isn't yours," 

"But Rias, you cant have both Issei and Y/N," Akeno whines

"I'm still confused who this guy is, and how you guys know him," Issei says, getting back on topic

"Y/N use to be Rias' boyfriend," Kiba says plainly

"I-I wouldn't say that," Rias says, which kind of hurts you, is she embarrassed that we loved each other? 

"Oh......." Issei says in deep thought

"Y/N.......... you... you are the only thing standing in my way from becoming HAREM KING!!" Issei says, "Believe me when I learn how to use this sacred gear thingy... I WILL DESTROY YOU!" Issei says as he starts running at you with his arms swinging

You easily hold him back with one arm grinning at his futile attempt,

"Issei stop it," Rias says, almost worried about him

"But RIAS!" Issei whines at her, but stops and sits down with a defeated look on his face

"Anyways, Y/N what brings you back to the Household Of Gremory?" Rias says politely

"I came back for you, Rias," You say

She almost seems taken aback by this comment, but then regains composure

"That's crazy, you know I'm unable to leave my servants" Rias justifies

"Then... I'll become one of your servants," You say

"Why? You could've easily done it before, but my dad decided to tolerate your stubbornness and allowed to stay a stray devil, so......... why now?" Rias says

"Rias," you start as you hold her hand," because I love you," you finish

Seconds pass while Rias seems to be trying to push her emotions down

"Rias..." you start but then get cut off by her

"No, I'm sorry if you are to become my servant, we must not let our emotions cloud our judgment," Rias says,

You don't know what to think, you have to choose between leaving her but loving her, or staying here and not loving her,

"Rias I want to-"

A/N: Yeah a fairly fast chapter but wanted to update so badly!!! Oh, btw I am almost done editing the previous 2 chapters, nothing really big is changong though so dont worry!
