Mackenzie's pov: A series of aggressive buzzing sounds come out of my phone. I take my eyes off my laptop and glance at the phone which is laying next to me still buzzing hysterically. I attempted to do my homeschool summer holidays homework so i can get it over with this morning but obviously that isn't gonna happen until I see what is going on with my phone.

Let me give you a bit of a back story. the orlando's and I, have been best friends since we were 3, i did dancing with lauren and her older brother john and i do singing together. They are my second family. I met the others when i used to do school, but it clashed with dance and singing so my mom decided that my sister Maddie and i should do home schooling.
It didn't change anything though. The gang still caught up every Friday and Saturday and the Orlando's and I and next door neighbours and my bedroom window faces johnnys bedroom window. I know i know, how super🙄
I hear the sound of pebbles tapping at my window. "What the fuck" i mumble to myself pulling the curtains open to reveal none other than Johnny himself throwing stuff at my window. Our windows are about 5 inches apart and ever since i can remember we always put a ladder between our windows so we can go into each other's rooms.
I raise the window up and give him an annoyed look. "what do you want?" i ask grumpily. He places the handful of pebbles on the window seal and puts his hands up in surrender. "sorry i was just asking if you wanted to hang out before we meet up with the gang and watch a movie" he asked innocently. He was such a dork but it was cute. The sunlight reflected off his emerald green eyes. The boy was gorgeous but he was also my best friend so that's a bit awkward.
"depends whorelando" i reply looking at my chipped nail. "wow very original zoogler" he says throwing a pebble at me. "Ouch! first off it's your finsta name, and second now i don't wanna come you hurt me" i say pouting.
"pleaseee?" he whines. He is such a kid sometimes. I roll my eyes "fine" i say giving in, he fist pumps the air. "but! i have something to do first" I saw with a cheeky grin on my face. he looks at me with a confused look as I pick up a pebble that he threw at me and throw it back at him, hitting him right in the centre of his forehead. "Hey!" he calls our throwing one back at me. We continue this, both giggle uncontrollably.

"i just don't understand!" Johnny calls out from behind the door of the bathroom. After I forced him into watching Disney's Snow White, johnny has many dumb ass questions. It's currently 11:45 and i'm getting changed into my bathers so we can go to the beach. "How do you not understand?" i ask opening the door of the bathroom.
"I don't understand how-" the shirtless boy peers up from his phone and his jaw drops slightly. "How you look hot" he blurts out by accident. probably realising what he had just said, his cheeks flush bright red. "I- oh um I mean uh i" he tries to say but fails as he was flustered.
I throw a pillow at him noticing he was still staring. I laugh "quite blushing orlando" i say making my way into his bed. "It's called rosacea" He manages to mumble. "call it what you want but we gotta go" I say grabbing his so that we can leave hand and walking down.
I feel my phone start buzzing again.
