Soongyu - For All To See

   Soonyoung could hear Hansol rustling in his bed and as their eyes had adjusted to the darkness, he could see Hansol was looking over in his direction with his head propped against his hand.

   "I think I know exactly what Mingyu went through..." Hansol's voice was so quiet, but still loud enough for Soonyoung to hear.

   "What do you mean?" Soonyoung's eyes had widened slightly and his gut was already telling him the answer, but he just wanted to make sure by hearing Hansol say it himself.

   "I also like... Someone..." Hansol bit his lower lip as he removed his head from his hand and laid his cheek flat against his pillow, maintaining eye contact with Soonyoung from across the room.

   They both stared at each other in the silence as they took in the situation. Soonyoung acknowledging that Hansol really did like another member, whilst Hansol analysed how he felt finally getting that information off of his chest. Like saying it out loud finally made it feel more real.

   "Seungkwannie?" Soonyoung asked softly.

   Hansol let out an exasperated sigh as he trailed a hand through his dark hair rolling onto his back to stare at the ceiling, "Is it obvious then?"

   Soonyoung chuckled quietly, "Well, you two were always exceptionally close; anyone could see that. But I wouldn't have assumed there was anything more to it if you hadn't just told me that now."

   Soonyoung watched as Hansol nodded his head.

   "Does he know?" Soonyoung probed.

   "No..."

   "Will you tell him?"

   "I don't know... Should I?"

    "You should."

    "But what if he reacts badly? Just because you and Mingyu-hyung worked out, doesn't mean he and I will." Hansol debated back.

   "Of course there's no guarantee it will work out," Soonyoung started, "If you'd have asked me this yesterday I'd have told you to keep it to yourself and just see how things go. But now... After hearing the way Mingyu explained how he'd felt for me over the months long before I'd even know he liked me... He must have felt so much pain and uncertainty. So my advice now would be to tell Seungkwan, because even if he doesn't react in the way you'd ideally want - you can at least get your feelings off your chest and save yourself from the torment and the constant wondering of 'what if', you know? Plus, it's Seungkwan, he'd never hate you."

   Soonyoung noted the way Hansol stayed silent knowing his words were having an affect on him, "But don't worry about it too much for now, Hansol. I'll do my best to help you from here on out, ok?"

   Soonyoung could hear the slight breathy exhale which hinted that Hansol had just smiled, "Ok. Thank you, hyung."

   "Always." Soonyoung replied, both of them closing their eyes and allowing their silence to turn into slumber.

   "How are you feeling?" Soonyoung asked as he gazed over Hansol, admiring the way his maroon coloured blazer looked over the top of his black shirt and trousers.
