We call them prawns, and they're not always cooked on a barbeque either. They taste just as great raw with some lemon juice or mixed into another meal.
They're commonly eaten at Easter and Christmas you sit there with two bowls and peel them yourself if you want real fresh ones. The packs from Costco aren't that bad though.
