His Last Words

"Let me write about you," said she.
"Why?" asked he.
"The best writers are either the ones who fell in love with the idea of love or the ones who had their hearts broken," replied she.
"Which one are you?" wondered he.
She didn't reply.
She began caressing the keyboard, moulding the right words to say. He was just looking at her intently for a moment.
Suddenly, he held back. He stopped. A single word can't escape from his mouth.
She was shaking her shoulders, she was wiping her face. She was struggling to concentrate for her vision becomes more blurry.
And all she heard was "I'm sorry."
