"I heard he's got some young floozie in the city." You froze when you heard a group of women talking at Tony's party. The other women made sounds of disgust while one shook her head.

"I wish I could say I was surprised." She said in a judgmental tone. If they knew the 'young floozie' was standing right next to them.

"You know how it is, young girl hears that an older man has a lot of money, they use their bodies to get what they want...."

"Then he 'mysteriously dies'." A woman quickly added. Their loud laughing made you extremely pissed off. When you started dating Tony you knew this was gonna happen but you didn't want to hear it. You stomped away from the stuck up woman and towards Tony's bedroom. This wouldn't have happened if those stupid photographers didn't interrupt yours and Tony's date. Now all you heard was people wondering who this young girl was.

"Let then wonder. Beside, you covered your face pretty well." Tony told you when the news article came out, your clutch purse covering your eyes. You felt relieved when you went into the bedroom and shut the door. He sat down on the big bed and brought your knees to your chest and let your head hang. A few minutes you heard the door open. You jumped when the noise of the party filled the quiet bedroom. Tony was loudly yelling to someone while laughing. He turned to see you on the bed. He noticed your bothered expression and dropped his laughing face. He quickly shut the door and walked over to the bed.

"What's the matter?" He asked. You huffed. You don't feel like talking about it because you felt like both had this conversation over and over.

"Nothing." You responded. You felt his hand rub behind your upper thigh.

"Baby." He said. You could feel his eyes staring at you, waiting for you to stop being distant. You laid back the pillow and crossed your arms.

"They were talking about me. Saying I'm with you for your money." You told him. You heard him mumble something under his breath but you can tell by his face he was a little annoyed. Weather it was at you or the women you didn't know.

"Who cares what they say? You're happy with me aren't you?" He asked. You scoffed at the question.

"Of course-"

"Then why do you care?" He could now hear the aggravated tone in his voice which started to get you annoyed.

"I don't appreciate being called a floozie! Or being told that once I use my body to get what I want I'll kill you! Just because I say I don't care, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt my feelings to hear it being said!" You shouted. He stared at you with his mouth slightly gaping. You always knew that Tony was never one to hide anything. Especially since he told the whole world he was Iron Man but you weren't like that. You liked your privacy and Tony warned you about that.

"There gonna be photographers, crazy fans, news anchors, maybe villains on some occasions..." You were both sitting in his room that night and it was a nice quiet night. It was only a two months so you didn't really get a taste of what he was talking about.

"I get it Tony, you're famous. It's ok I can handle whatever your fame has to throw at me." You told him. He was worried about how you would feel on the future but he didn't let himself worry about it. But every since that paparazzi fit he noticed a little bit of change in you. You didn't want to go out as much.

"Honey, I love your cooking but don't you wanna go out and get some food one night? There's a reallyyyy good restaurant I know you'll love-" You took a break from stirring the dinner you were making to kiss him.

"Soon. As of right now I like making you dinner." You said. Tony let the conversation end because he knew that if he bothered you, you would get annoyed with him. Now, seeing you curled up in the bed in anger, Tony knew why. He formulated a way to talk you into a better mood.

"Listen (Y/N), I really hate to say it but no matter if we're public or trying our best to keep it on the down low, people will judge us. And, I know we've talked about before but, I think it would be far easier just to embrace it." He noticed your face shift, ready to say something. "I know you don't like the public eye! We don't have to show off our relationship off like it's some new Stark technology but, we can slip it in."

"Slip it in?" You repeated in a confused tone. He nodded with a grin.

"Instead of going on tv or an interview and going on about our relationship, we can just like...be places together and act like a normal couple." He explained. You understood what he was trying to tell you.

"So just be together but not really mention it? Kiss, hug and shit and if anyone asks we just point blank say we're together and nothing else?" You said. Tony clapped his hands together and smiled at you.

"Exactly!" He yelled. He shoved off the bed and paced to the window. He took a quick glance out before putting his hand on his chin. He was thinking something up. "And it all starts here! At this party!" You crawled off the bed and walked to the eccentric inventor.

"Here?" You asked. He nodded. He grabbed your shoulder and gave you a quick kiss.

"Think about it, if I stroll up with you on my arm all causal it'll be more normal than doing it in the public eye! People with leave saying 'oh that's Tony girl?' And word will spread gradually making it not as....blown out." He rambled. You nodded along to every word he said. What he was saying was actually making sense. You had a good feeling about that. The thought of finally being stress free and carefree sounded great.

"That sounds nice..." You mumbled with some resistance. Tony big grin dropped a little bit when he heard it. As much as he found your shyness cute, he wished that you would be more bold like he was. This to him was a good walk in the park but he guessed he was in the public eye for awhile.

"(Y/N)-" Tony interrupted by the door swinging open, with someone shouting his name. You both tensed up until you realized it was Rhodey. He looked between the two of you before shutting the door.

"I'm not walking a fight am I?" He asked. Tony laughed and walked over to him, putting his hand on his shoulder.

"No no! Just talking." He told him. You gave Rhodey a smile to reassure him. That was helpful because he turned back to Tony.

"Well everyone is waiting for you man! It's your party after all." He said. Tony quickly glanced over to you.

"You coming?" He asked. You smiled weakly.

"I'll be out there in a minute. Go ahead." You told them. Tony was off putted by you saying that but reluctantly obeyed. Him and Rhodey slipped out of the room back into the crowd of partygoers. You sighed and laid back into the soft pillows.

I mean come on (Y/N) it's not gonna kill you! You love him and he loves you so who cares what those judgmental old bags think of it? They're just jealous that their husbands want to sleep with young girls just like you. You told yourself. Your small pet talk got your adrenaline flowing. You launched off the bed and went into the bathroom. You made sure to touch up your makeup, fixing you dress, and fix your hair. You confidently stepped out of the bathroom to search for Tony. When you spotted him, he was talking to and older man, you strut over to him. He noticed you before you snaked your hands around his waist.

"Hi honey." You said to him. He wrapped his arm around your shoulder before kissing you. You turned to the man who Tony had been speaking to.

"Hi, (Y/N) (Y/L/N). Nice to meet you." You extended your free hand which he gladly took and shook it. After that people were coming up to you from the left and the right. It kinda made you laugh how they were trying to find out as much as they could without asking right out about you and Tony. Luckily, Tony was a master at talking so he was able to avoid certain questions. You found yourself kissing him, letting him wrap his arms around you, and playing with his hair. You even meet the group of women who were talking about you and they acted nicer than ever (clearly fake). But overall you were very happy and enjoyed the party much since it was with Tony.
