Melo and Brandi have been Bestfriend's for about 7 years now. When Brandi starts to develop feelings for Melo she's stuck on what to do. Will her feelings turn out to something good. Or will it hurt their friendship?
I'm laying in bed scrolling through my phone while listening to Alina Baraz. I get a FaceTime from my bestfriend Melo.
Brandi: hello.
Melo: wassup lil girl.
Brandi: hey bestie.
Melo: what you doing?
Brandi: nothing just chilling, listening to some music. What about you?
Melo: just got out of weight training. Bout to go chill before practice.
Brandi: that doesn't sound fun. (Laughs)
Melo: nah it's cool I'm bout to buss niggas ass in practice.
Brandi: awww I miss you Dip.
Melo: I miss you too. Aye hold up tho Ashely calling me.
Melo hangs up the phone and I get up to go down stairs. "Mom are you cooking today" I ask her as I look in the fridge. "I was thinking maybe we could go out on a mommy and daughter date" she says. I agree to the idea and close the fridge.
I make my way back upstairs to my shower. Although it was just my mom and I. We had a really huge house for just two people.
After I step out the shower I begin putting on some clothes. It was pretty hot outside so I just put on a tank, some jeans, and sneakers. I didn't feel like having my curls out today so I just slicked my hair back in a ponytail.

I grab my phone and keys and walk to the living room. As I'm chilling on the couch my mom comes downstairs dressed ready to go.

"oooo ok Ms. Jackie" I say laughing. She just rolls her eyes and laughs as she gets the keys out her purse on the kitchen island. "Come on B" she says to me.
