There she stood, anticipating the completion of her revenge. On a cliff hidden in the Misty Woods of Mualei there laid the headquarters of the Misty Demon Sect. Only known by a few hidden experts on the land, the Misty Demon Sect was a very mysterious one. They resided in the Misty Woods, a mostly unexplored region of Mualei, as the only human inhabitants. They knew the land like the back of their hands and they used that to their advantage.

Sasha had spent the last 3 years residing in these woods to get a lay of the land and to finalize her plans. She had been through the most extreme situations in her life here, which said a lot because the last twelve years of her life had been pure hell. She was molded into a tough, cold, and quick-witted warrior.

Today was finally the day she would be enacting her revenge on the Misty Demon Sect. She had spent years preparing for this moment and working her ass off to grow strong enough.

As she flew past trees and shrubs like a shadow she recalled her life so far.

Her tribe had been completely annihilated and the only reason she was alive was because she was away in the forest trying once again to begin her cultivation to no avail. She had spent many nights by herself in that forest trying to become in tune with the heavens and the earth but no matter how hard she tried for some reason she was unable to.

The morning she came back to her clan territory surrounded by army men in uniforms belonging to the Rapid Storm Warriors, an enemy of her Ancient Earth Clan. As she looked past the men and women she saw her tribe was nothing but ash. There was an eerie silence and she knew at that moment everyone she cared about was gone. She already could count the number of people she cared about on one hand but now she couldn't even do that.

Her world came tumbling down and she froze in shock and disbelief. What was she supposed to do now that she was alone? She had many skills but none of them mattered if she couldn't cultivate. She truly was a useless piece of trash.

As she came to she stepped back slowly and decisively ran away at the exact moment the cultivators were most distracted as they had been up all night and were starting to feel drowsy. On top of the fact that Sasha had no spiritual presence she completely evaded their notice.

She spent the next months traveling to different friendly tribes learning new skills and becoming stronger. Even if she couldn't cultivate she could at least learn martial arts and strengthen her body. During her travels, she had encountered many precarious situations.

She was almost kidnapped and sold by slave traders several times because of her stunning looks. She had tanned skin from being under the sun, straight black hair that fell in elegantly down to her waist, a sharp looking face with fierce grey eyes a straight but uniquely ethnic nose and plump peach lips. She had an entrancing figure toned to perfection rippling with strength and she had a cold and silent demeanor which only further made people want to be the only one she warmed up to.

After 2 years of wandering, she accidentally entered an ancient array where she was tested in many different ways to survive. She had to fight off demonic and holy beasts, escape traps, scavenge, and travel with no food or drink beside poisonous raw beast meat and beast blood.

Unknowingly in this harsh environment, she started to absorb spiritual energy. Her body was forced to adapt to survive until one year in the array had past and she reached the center where the core of the array was situated. She had lost much weight during the time and was extremely sick due to the "food" she had consumed. The only reason she was still alive was because of the slight amount of spiritual energy which she had subconsciously absorbed.

At the instant she touched the core a voice rang out inside her mind. The voice was one of an old lady. She explained how this array was a test for her inheritor and it had been thousands of years since the last person had entered. Sasha was the only one to pass despite her lack of cultivation and thus was endowed with ancient knowledge from the Golden Era. A time of great advancement and peace that had long passed.

With her newfound knowledge, Sasha learned the reason for her inability to cultivate. It turns out that she had a highly unique physique that only permitted one cultivation technique to be used. The problem was that it had been lost in the sea of time.

After learning that she had a chance to truly cultivate Sasha set out to find the 9 Moon Empress Transformations technique. With her ancient knowledge, it wasn't hard to find and within a year she had acquired the technique from an abandoned temple deep within the ranges of the Diamond Mountains. A highly dangerous region said to contain many fantastical creatures which in reality it did. Dragons, Phoenixes, Qilin, and nine-tailed-foxes had all been seen by her. In fact, due to her strong and straightforward nature, she had many allies in the form of these mystical creatures. It was the old matriarch of the dragon clan which had told her about the Misty demon sect, but Sasha only showed minor interest as she didn't know about their involvement in her clan's destruction. Sasha stayed on the mountain for 3 years cultivating up to purple spirit earth stage cultivation. One she stabilized her foundation at this stage she was confident that she could infiltrate the Rapid storm warrior territory and get her revenge for her family and friends. She left the mountains after an extravagant farewell party from all of the creatures she had befriended on the mountains. Then she left.
