After five minutes, everyone stopped screaming and trying to break out. They've all given up. Except Gir, who was never screaming or trying to break out in the first place. Instead, he was now taking a nap from all that running and swimming, while everyone else sat miserably in their bubbles.
The figure and everyone else soon made it out of the cave, on the other side. The landscape seemed even more decayed and miserable than it was on the other end. The figure turned right side up as they stepped onto the ground. They then lowered everyone until they were two feet off the ground, before snapping their fingers again, causing all the bubbles to pop at once. Everyone fell to the ground, but were unharmed due to how low to the ground they were.
"You're all lucky that I came around when I did." The figure said, with their back turned to everyone.
"What are you even talking about?" Honey asked.
"I suppose you saw at least one of them." The figure replied as they turned their head slightly. However, an awkward silence was received by the figure as a response, who then sighed.
"I mean, any shadow like creatures with you in the water." They added.
"I saw something dark underneath me, it even touched me!" Dib replied, recalling what he saw.
"It's a good thing that it didn't attack you." The figure replied.
"Those things are powerful enough to bite you in half." They added.
Everyone either cringed, or shuddered by that last part.
"And if you were to somehow survive a bite, you will suffer agonizing pain from its stronge venom before dying." The figure continued.
"Can you stop that before I have nightmares?" Megan asked nervously.
"How do you know all this?" Zim asked.
"I have unfortunately seen it happen to unlucky visitors, unlike you. Most visitors don't make it this far." The figure replied.
"So, you should be grateful that I saved your lives." They added, sounding rather calm, even when mentioning those gruesome details.
"Thanks... I guess..." Honey said, sounding awkward. She wasn't so sure if thanking the figure was the right thing to do, but she was grateful.
"Thank you, uh, whatever your name is." Megan added, also sounding awkward.
"No worries, but we haven't properly introduced ourselves yet." The figure said, reaching for their hood.
"I'll start first." The figure said. Everyone introduced themselves, and happily greeted the figure. The figure smiled in satisfaction, and removed their hood.
"Y-You're a..." Zim mumbled out of shock. Long blonde hair done up in a ponytail hanged down, as a young girl, looking like the same age as Megan and Honey, opened her eyes, that had pink irises.
"You're some kind of magic human!" Zim finished his sentence.
"I may look like a human, but I assure that I'm not one." The girl replied.
"My name is, Heart." Heart said with a smile.
"L-Like an organ heart?" Dib whispered to himself nervously.
"So, if you have magic powers... were you the one that brought us to this world?" Honey asked. Heart shook her head.
"No, even though I have magic abilities, I could never create a portal to another world. That would be too complicated." She replied, using that chilling calm tone again.
"Do you know who brought us into this world?" Gir asked. Heart glanced over at a nearby tree, that looked like it was about to turn to dust.
"She did." Heart simply replied.
"You mean that dead tree over there brought us here?" Dib asked, sounding annoyed.
"Not the tree itself, but the one that did this to that tree... She brought you here."
"Most visitors that come here actually summoned the portal themselves, using dark magic." Heart continued. "If she ended up bringing you here all on her own, she must have some plans for at least one of you. The others that she wasn't after, just simply came along for the ride." She finished. "Do you know who this, "She" is?" Megan asked curiously. Heart simply nodded.
"Sinister..." She said. "That's her name?" Zim asked. "Yes, she is a creature of darkness. Born from the negative energy of not just humans, but all kinds of species, even those that don't live on Earth. "Like...Irkens, my species." Zim said, suddenly sounding anxious. "Yes, all sorts of creatures. Sinister is not the only one. There are many creatures of negativity and darkness all over this universe. Even on my home planet." Heart said, holding her hand up to her chest.
"She can't be too far. I can feel her presence." Heart said, referring to Sinister. "I don't know why, but... I feel her presence too." Zim said nervously as his antennas drooped. "That's odd, i don't feel anything..." Gir said in confusion. Honey, Megan and Dib also said that they don't feel anything either, which was awfully strange that only Heart and Zim can sense it.
"I sense it... it's getting stronger..." Heart said nervously. "She's getting closer!" Zim panicked. "Well, why aren't we running?!" Dib asked, already in a running position. "Running from her would be useless, you'll see what I mean..." Heart replied.
Zim suddenly made a shaky gasp as he looked to his left. "Sh-She's... h-here..."
