Jeonghan had told Hansol he looked like a 'bad boy' from a K-drama.

"Well, alright then. I'll walk you home." Hansol spoke decisively.

"Hansol, you don't have to leave here if you don't want to. I'm perfectly capable of getting home alone." Seungkwan crossed his arms and tilted his head back slightly as if to try and look down his nose at Hansol and act more mature - but considering he was smaller than Hansol, it didn't really have the desired effect and simply made Hansol chuckle.

"I'm sure you are perfectly capable of going alone, doesn't mean I'll let you though." Hansol smiled at Seungkwan before taking a hold of Seungkwan's elbow and leading him out of the toilet room.

The pair of them said their goodbyes to the other members and moved out into the fresh air turning away from the taxi rank and heading down the street at a slow stroll. Hansol looked up at the sky and admired the view, realising that there weren't many clouds out so the stars could be seen quite clearly. It was peaceful.

Seungkwan let out a slight yawn as he stretched his arms up above his head, working out the kinks and tension in his back as they walked.

They walked for a little while without the need for words, simply enjoying the early morning air and the peace the early hours of the morning offered. No one else seemed to be around and only a couple of cars would drive past them every minute or so. Usually they wouldn't be able to just walk around like this, what with them not having their masks on them. But given the time it was, it was safe to assume no one would be around to recognise them.

Hansol missed times like this, being able to walk beside Seungkwan so casually, without having to wonder if they'd get 'spotted' or recognised. It made him feel normal; whatever normal entailed.

Hansol found himself watching Seungkwan, his head slightly turned in the older males direction as he looked over Seungkwan's features with admiration.

Seungkwan had done so well for himself over the past year, he was finally being recognised as a 'variety God' as fans labelled him to the point he was even receiving awards. Seungkwan had always been funny and was an absolute natural when it came to witty humour or being an MC. It was something Hansol had always admired about Seungkwan even back in the day, in their younger years.

Though for some reason Hansol also felt a strange tug at his heart when he saw just how well Seungkwan was doing.

Seungkwan didn't need to rely on anyone else anymore; he was making a name for himself in his own right and Hansol couldn't help but feel like his best friend was getting further and further away from him and leaving him behind.

Outside of SEVENTEEN, Seungkwan had all his variety show appearances where he'd do his best to promote their group to the best of his potential. But what did Hansol have?

It left him feeling a little lacking...

That was a least what Hansol was telling himself to ignore the voice in the back of his head that would tell him he simply missed being the person Seungkwan relied on. The Seungkwan who had cared for him pre debut, to the Seungkwan he now cared for post debut. That Seungkwan was fading away with each passing day.

How long would it be till Seungkwan no longer needed Hansol around to look after him?...

Seungkwan closed his eyes momentarily as they walked, breathing in deeply through his nose to inhale the air around them, enjoying the cool breeze against his face as they walked, their steps not too fast as his still felt a little light headed. But it was nice to be outside like this, when was the last time they'd been able to just take a walk? They'd been so busy as of late with practice and their comeback, plus CARATLAND wasn't that far away.
