Chapter 9

The reality of Chapter 4

Fifteen year old Taehyung sat at the kitchen table eating cereal late at night after his mom fell asleep or so he thought
"Kim Taehyung!" His mom yelled come into the kitchen Taehyung chugged the sweet milk and cereal bits in the bowl
"Why are you awake? You know you aren't suppose to have sweets before bed." Taehyung's mom said sweetly
"Go back to bed mom." Taehyung said gritting his teeth
"Don't talk to your mother like that." His mom said Taehyung got up from the table and threw the glass bowl smashing the wall near his mom's head
"Kim Taehyung!" She yelled holding onto her robe trembling Taehyung flipped the kitchen table his mom jumped slightly afraid of what came after this
"Stop yelling at me!" Taehyung screamed breathing heavily giving his mom a death stare
"Go to your room." His mom said Taehyung didn't budge his mom walked toward him and grabbed his arm dragging him out of the kitchen
"Let me go!" He yelled repeatedly as they neared Taehyung's room door Tae used his free hand and hit his mom in the face. She stumbled back letting go of Taehyung
"Look what you've done now." She said pointing to her bloody nose
"That serves you right." He laughed walking into his room slamming the door. He laid on his bed and looked up at the ceiling in his room where a poster of a superhero looked down at him watching over him as he slept
"Oh, Jungkook why didn't you come save me?" Taehyung asked
"That is no excuse!" Taehyung yelled his mom opened his room door
"Who are you talking to?" She said holding a paper towel on her nose
"Don't interrupt our conversation that is very rude." Taehyung snapped throwing his lamp at the door Taehyung's mom hurried and shut the door the lamp shattered against the door Taehyung sighed throwing covers over his head falling asleep under his blanket. The next day Taehyung came home from the pharmacy with his bag of medicine. He entered his dimly lit house
"Dumb bitch didn't even pay for the lights." He muttered looking at the candles set around the house
"Mom!" He yelled as he walked into the living and sat on the couch she cautiously came down the stairs
"Yes honey?" She replied sweetly sitting in the dim living room with him
"When is dad coming back?" He asked
His mom sighed "He is on a very long business trip."
"That does not answer my question." Taehyung said he held one of the candles staring at the fire
"He will be back soon." She said Taehyung stood up
"You know what," He said throwing the candle on the ground a fire started
"I'm tired of your lies."
"KIM TAEHYUNG!!" She screamed getting up the couch Taehyung pushed her back down onto the couch
"Liars should burn in hell." He laughed the fire grew more blocking the back door and the front door Taehyung ran to his room
"G..Get back here!" She yelled as she coughed the black smock filled the living room Taehyung ran into his room as he tried to slam the door close his mom pushed it back
"Stop it! Are you trying to kill me!?" She cried as she tried pushing the door open Taehyung opened the door making her fall onto the floor
"Mothers like you don't deserve to live." Taehyung said grimly he kicked her in the stomach until he felt she had enough then he picked her up and threw her out of the room. He slammed his door shut as the fire roared down the hall Taehyung wrapped himself in his blanket and crashed through his window then he unwrapped himself and sat on his blanket watching his house burn down
"Jungkook why...why didn't you save her?" Taehyung asked as he turned his head to talk to an invisible figure
"But Jungkook it's your job! You're a hero!" Taehyung exclaimed then he started to cry
"Don't leave Jungkook I need you here. You're suppose to be my hero. Please Jungkook." Taehyung said holding his hand up to the sky as if Jungkook had flew into the sky.
