Gray sat motionless by the riverbank shore with his head rested on his knees and his eyes fixed on the water ahead of him. This was a special place. This held many memories, including when he first joined Fairy Tail. When he first joined he would go here sometimes to think. Or it was where he would fight with his rival Natsu.
He always admired the pink haired fire mage and Gray knew there was something about him that he loved. Maybe it was his hair color that stuck out to Gray, I mean who would have their hair dyed pink of all colors? Gray thought to himself and chuckled a little. Maybe it was the way he fought...? He was always so determined and stopped at nothing to win the battle for his friends. Gray didn't know what it was and at some point he found himself lost in thoughts before he heard foot steps behind him. He knew who this was. Natsu. "Are you okay out here?" Natsu asked as he sat by his guild mate. "Yeah, I'm fine" Gray muttered as his gaze fell from the riverbank shore to Natsu's green emerald eyes. Gray moving more and more closer to the fire mage. And Natsu finally closing the space between them. Their gazes locked for a long while before they were snapped back in to reality and realized what they were doing. Natsu with his warm soft lips against Gray's, their fingers intertwined with each other, and their faces both had a faint color of pink shown across. Natsu pulled away rather slowly, confused and embarrassed at what he had just done. "I-I didn't m-meant to-" The pink haired teen was caught off by a short yet passionate kiss from the ice mage.
