Hey! So this is my first fanfic, so u h h sorry if it sucks ass. I'm trying my best with this! If you like this, please comment/favorite/whatever so I know I'm not writing this for blind eyes... =w= Critiques, suggestions, and requests are very much welcome! (Especially critiques, or if you notice spelling errors!)

Also, if anyone knows the art part of the cover's artist, please tell me! I found it from someone else who had posted it but they didn't credit the artist there, so now I'm on a man hunt for their username ifruovefds I'm an artist myself, so I really hate when people don't credit art when they use it!!

Anyways, enjoy this car crash of a story! ^^ <3

I've always been a-okay with school, y'know? Nothing too bad has happened to me there after all. Even after my family moved, I wasn't worried about my new school, and I'm still not right now on the morning of the first day of school. I'm a sophomore at this school, and I know by this point for sure everyone's already long ago settled into their forever-during-school friend groups, and I was an outsider... okay, maybe I lied and I'm actually pretty nervous? ...But hey! That's okay because everything ends okay in the end anyways!

My alarm went off a few minutes ago and I had slapped the snooze button until it worked. I finally get up, yawning and going downstairs. Of course, no day can be complete without some rainbow funking cereal! Froot Loops! I don't even like how they taste, I only like their aesthetic... oh well.

Before I know it, I have to get to school or I'll be late. I grab my bag, and skateboard the fresh funk outta here! It's still pretty early in the morning, and the sun's barely over the horizon. I like watching sunsets and sunrises, and watching the colors shift around as they either turn out black or blue respectively. They're rather pretty!

Suddenly, I'm on the ground with a thud. I'm a pro skateboarder I'll have you know, so what could have happened? "Dude, what the fuck is your problem!?" Oh. I got lost in my thoughts, and I crashed into some major mood spoiler of a skeleton. He was some... interesting neon colors, kind of like me, I guess! He looked really mad though...

"Yo, I'm sorry man, I wasn't paying enough attention!" I quickly apologize to him, standing back to my feet. I offer my hand to help him up, flashing a friendly smile, but he just glares and scoffs at me, standing up on his own.

"...Go fuck yourself, rainbow freak." I barely hear him mutter to himself as he turns around to walk away.

"..." I decide not to further antagonize him. He already seems like he's having a bad day. Oh well...! I put my skateboard back on its wheels, and I manage to get to school without seeing that guy again thankfully. There were tons of different monsters outside, tall ones and small ones, angry ones and sad ones, happy ones and tired ones... They all seemed reclusive go their friend groups, as I expected... Ugh...

A few minutes of wandering around and a bell rings signaling homeroom. I remember seeing the room number for my homeroom earlier that morning, so I wander the halls until I find it. It wasn't that hard to find! It looks like I'm the last one to show up, and... it's the guy I ran into earlier, uh oh... He and the other guy he is talking to now kept glancing at me. Now I'm even more nervous...

"Oh! Oh! You're new, right? Welcome to our homeroom, I'm the magnificent Blue!" Someone else shouts cheerily at me, blocking the line of sight between me and the angry dudes in the dark corner of the room.

"U-Uh-!" Yeah, his sudden yelling startled me quite a bit, "Yeah, I am new. I'm Fresh, nice ta meetcha, Blue-ski!" I say, finger gunning at him. He now looks upset, but not actually upset. Playfully upset, more like, "Oh, come on! You make puns, too!?"

"It was an opportunity I had ta take, sorry my dude." I say. At least someone seems to want to be my friend, I thought no one would talk to me for awhile, if even at all!

Blue runs off to greet his own friends after not seeing them over summer break, and the moment he's gone... those two in the corner flashing looks at me approach me now, "...So you're the maniac that crashed into my friend?" The one I hadn't seen before school says, not sounding happy at all. He looked rather... goopy...? Not rad at all, "He totally is unicorn's vomit, what the hell?" He adds more quietly to the other.

"Listen here, punk. I'm Error, and this is Nightmare, and don't you forget that. You messed with the wrong people, pal."

"I already said I'm sorry, jeez! It was an accident! Why would I try ta hitcha on a skateboard? I coulda injured myself more than I ever could have to you!" I try arguing, but this Nightmare guy doesn't seem to care.

"An enemy of Error's is an enemy of mine. You better watch yourself, kid." They walk off snickering to each other. I realize they're both a bit older than me, and are juniors (for those who don't know (since I didn't for a long time) it goes freshman, sophomore, junior, senior...). ...Great, already being made fun of by upperclassmen.

"Hey, knock it off!" I recognize that as Blue's voice. Blue now stood in Error and Nightmare's path, "I saw you two threatening the new kid over there! Don't think I didn't!"

"Yeah? So what, string beans? You gonna cry to your younger brother for help again like that one time?" Error says, smirking as Blue falters and takes a half-step back from them, "Yeah, that was hilarious last hear watching a junior run crying to an 8th grader for help!" Nightmare snickers. Blue looked shocked, and eventually backs away completely, looking embarrassed now as he instead comes to me.

"Hey..." He says quietly, so Error and Nightmare couldn't hear him, "Those two bully a lot of people... just be careful around them, okay? You see that guy over there?" He motions to yet another angry looking dude, but he looked more chill than Error and Nightmare, "They used to bully a guy who looks like he should be one of them. They just don't care!"

"Bullying ain't very rad of them..." I murmur, slightly glaring at the two since their backs were to us, "Someone should stop them!" The bell rings again, and it's time for my first class. ...History. Hooray.
