I wrote this one because of the requests I got on my other stories. So I hope you like it!
You just transferred to a new school in your senior year. Never really having liked being in the centre of attention, you'd want to just graduate without enduring any type of high school drama. But when you meet the queen bee of the school, it's hard fading into the background.

Hungry Eyes
The bell rang and all students quickly exited the classroom. I adjusted the straps of my backpack that was loosely hanging off my shoulder and made my way towards my locker. Just as I had opened it, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey, how has your first day been so far?" My stepbrother Troye asked me with a smile.
"As good as transferring to a new high school in the middle of senior year can be." I told him while putting some books into my locker, receiving a laugh from him.
"No, but seriously. How's it been? Everyone being nice to you?" He asked me seriously now, hugging his books to his chest.
"Okay, I guess. So far, everyone's been pretty chill." I answered honestly, causing his eyes to widen for some reason.
"So, you haven't met Ariana and her gang?" He asked me, causing me to frown in confusion.
"Who the hell are Adrianna and her squad? Some upcoming punk school band or something?" I asked him confused, as he let out yet another loud laugh.
"Ariana and her gang of followers. She's the most popular girl in school, her ego feeds off the minorities. She dates the hottest people, just because she can." Troye explained to me, watching my unimpressed facial expression.
"What a cliché. What is this, Mean Girls? Gosh." I mumbled, causing him to let out another laugh and nod in agreement.
A comfortable silence fell between us, as I leaned my head into my locker to look for the books I needed for next period. I looked at Troye when I heard his breathing stop and followed his gaze.
A group of four girls and a guy walked down the hall, causing all heads to turn. Assuming it was Ariana and her gang, I averted my eyes unimpressed and brought my attention back to my locker. I heard the sound of clicking heels coming closer and stop right behind me and in front of Troye.
"Did you finish my homework?" I heard a female voice ask from behind me, directed at Troye.
"Err, almost. I'll give it to you next period, Ariana." Troye nervously spoke, causing me to frown at how he let this girl walk right over him.
"I need it, Trey. So make it quick." She spat at him, causing me to turn angry.
"His name is Troye." I spoke up, turning around with a frown on my face.
I slammed my locker shut, which gained me attention from Ariana, her group and Troye. Ariana looked surprised. With her eyes wide and her mouth agape, she looked me up and down a few times.
"If you want to have your homework ready whenever you want it to be ready, try doing it yourself." I said looking her directly in the eye, crossing my arms over my chest.
Her friends gasped, and so did Troye, but Ariana didn't budge. She shot her friends and Troye a look, which they understood and immediately walked away, leaving Ariana and I alone at my locker. She still stared at me, while I glared at her.
"What?" I asked her, when she still hadn't said anything.
"Are you and Trey dating?" She asked me softly, brushing her hair off her shoulder.
"No, I'm Troye's stepsister." I told her emphasizing my stepbrother's name.
"So that's why you're so protective over him.." She said softly more to herself than to me, looking away in thought.
"Even if he wasn't my stepbrother, who the hell are you to talk to someone like that?" I told her still remaining angry at her, to my surprise gaining a smirk from her.
She giggled at me, I was now more confused than ever. She stepped closer to me, causing me to take a step back which had me pressed against the locker row. This girl was insane.
"You really don't know me, do you?" She dragged out, softly dragging her fingers over my cheek. I grabbed her wrist and removed her hand away from my face.
"I'm fine not knowing." I told her, pushing her off me a little so I could walk away from her.
Not even having noticed the bell had already rang, the hallways were almost empty now. I sighed deeply and took out my phone to the picture I took of my schedule. I speed walked through the hallways looking up every now and then to check the classroom numbers, which didn't match with the classroom numbers on my schedule. Meanwhile, I kept hearing heals clicking behind me, following me around.
Accepting the fact that I was lost and that the rude girl was still following me, hot on my tail, I sighed and stopped walking. Ariana didn't expect it, so when I stopped in my tracks, she bumped into my back. I turned around and saw her fixing her hair and stance when I met her eyes. When she didn't say anything I looked at her questioningly.
"Can't you just leave me alone?" I asked her growing tired of this girl.
I didn't know her, and here she was following me around after being rude to my stepbrother.
"Go out with me." She spoke up, taking on a confident stance.
I let out scoff and looked at the ground, shaking my head in disbelief. I looked up again and saw that she was looking at me like she had meant the question.
"No, thank you." I told her before walking away, the sound of her heels ticking after me echoing through the empty hallway.
"Then I guess I can't leave you alone then." She told me just as we had entered the bathroom.
I abruptly turned around again, with her bumping into me, again as well. I kept eye contact with her, my glare staring into her amused eyes. Our faces inches away from one another. My jaw clenched and her eyes traveling down to my lips. The girl had the nerve to lean in, so when she did, I immediately stepped away from her.
"If I go out with you, you have to leave Troye alone." I tried to bargain with the blonde in front of me, who looked flustered but tried hiding it with a confident smirk.
"Deal." She let out, walking closer to me again.
Even though I had a disliking towards this girl ever since I met her not even five minutes ago, I couldn't deny the fact that she was attractive. The way she walked closer to me and looked up into my eyes with a challenging look. The way her eyes traveled from my lips, down to the rest of my body and back up to my eyes. I found myself licking my lips before turning away.
"I'll think about it." I told her before exiting the girl's bathroom.
