The winter wind was bitterly cold. As it jumped through all the exposed parts of her body, she tightly clutched her coat and scrunched up her face.

Her arms made their way around mine and she pushed my bicep closely to her chest. After she stated the obvious I agreed with a nod. It was really cold, I looked up to the almost asleep sky. Dusky blue and barely any clouds, it was like the sky was naked. The long strands of grass waved frantically at us every three seconds and the noisy russling surrounded our ears.

We had no clue as to where we were going we just strolled aimlessly. The sun lowered slowly as we got further from my car and she made a sudden gasp before pointing directly in front.

Bursts of orange, purple, pink and yellow surrounded our frontal view. She exclaimed and exclaimed about how beautiful it looked. I watched her get out her phone to treasure the scene forever and she smiled at me as I squeezed her hand tighter.

Moments like these are the ones you wish could last forever. The ones that are permanent in your memory, even after she says she no longer feels the same way, even after you're deleted from the gallery of her phone. As I sat and watched a sunset alone, I remebered the exclaiming, the treasuring and the squeezing of hands. It is inevitable that they will disappear from my mind and I wonder if it ever did from hers.
