Chapter 6 ♕ Hide & Seek

Start from the beginning

"Oh, Colby." I quietly giggled to myself, but Colby heard me loud and clear.

"I just don't feel like getting up at the moment." He lied to Sam, while staring me down with pure hatred.

"Jeez, lazy much." Corey chuckled.

Smirking, as I slowly walked past Colby teasing him slightly with the sway of my hips and the puckering of my lips.

"Yeah, lazy much." I winked at him.

"Ohh, just wait." He growled lowly, "You're in for a real treat." He threatened me with a good time that I knew he wasn't capable of giving me.

"Hopefully, I'm not disappointed." I smirked before walking away.

One point for Atmosphere and zero for Colby.

"Wait, so we are playing hide and seek?" I asked Sam.

"Yup, I'm gonna give you guys three minutes to find your spots and whoever gets caught first, gets thrown into the freezing pool." He explained the wonderful game he wanted us to play for one of his YouTube videos.

My eyes wandered towards their pool, "Noted." I mumbled to myself.

"I can't wait to win again." Aaron beamed, causing a sigh to leave Colby's lips.

"I swear if you find me first again, I'm never playing this game again." Colby threatened Sam, causing a chuckle to leave Sam's thin lips.

"Okay, well I'm going to be outside in the front." Sam said as he headed towards the front door, "Your time starts now!" He yelled before slamming the door shut.

"Jeez." I mumbled as everyone ran off.

I slowly made my way through the poorly lit house. I knew that he would obviously check the first floor and backyard, so I made my way upstairs.

At the end of the hallway near Jake's room there was a ladder in the middle of the walkway which was there if you wanted to access the top of the roof without having to be launched up there by someone in the house.

"Perfect." I smiled.

Without making any noise, I climbed my way up, moving the tile to the roof aside before pushing myself onto the roof. I recovered the entrance, so it looked like no one had come through it before making my way around, trying to find a good hiding spot.

"Get your own hiding spot." A deep voice growled from behind, startling me.

Colby slowly appeared from behind a unit box with an irritated expression written on his pale face.

"Don't scare me like that!" I hissed.

He chuckled lightly, "You've never been up here before, have you?" He asked me, eyeing at how fixated I was by the breathtaking view that was behind me.

"Nope." I breathed.

"I always came up here, especially at night whenever I needed to clear my mind." He whispered, opening up to me in a way he never did before, "I would just vent out into the open, knowing that not a single soul heard me, but sometimes, I always hoped one did. And I always hoped they would answer back to me."
