"Okay, fine." I gave in, only because I didn't want to go back and forth with him.
"Great." He beamed, "Let me go get Corey and Devyn." He said before running back inside for them.
As we drove up the steep hills of Southern California to get to our destination, we were just jamming out to heartfelt music while joking around the whole way there. It was nothing, but good vibes radiating the whole time.
I was the first one to get out of his car and walk over to the ledge of one of the overlooks, not wanting to waste anytime, because the view of the city lights were just breathtaking and I wanted it all to myself.
"You can never get used to this, believe me." Corey said as he came to my side with Devyn wrapped around him.
"I believe you." I whispered as I continued to stare ahead.
"This makes you realize that every little problem you have going on is something you will eventually get over. You just got to take a second for yourself and just see the bigger picture." Jake added his own thoughts on what the meaning of this view meant to him.
"That was deep, man." Corey slightly gasped at one of the most heartfelt things he has probably ever heard leave Jake's mouth.
"Come on, Appna." Jake smiled as he reached for my hand, "Let's take your first L.A. picture, together."
Corey voluntarily pulled out his phone and snapped a few photos of Jake and I being ourselves with the most amazing view in the background.
"Aww, I love it." I smiled as I stared at the photo I liked the most.
"Oo, send that to us." Jake smiled as well.
Once I received the photo, I quickly went to my Instagram so I can go ahead and post it, but I came across something I never expected to see.
"Umm, guys?" I breathed as my eyes wandered up to theirs, "Why do I almost have forty-thousand followers on Instagram?" I questioned them.
"It's probably cause we all followed you, and you have been in a couple of our videos so far." Corey said, "It's not that hard to find someone you are looking for nowadays on the internet." He added.
"Oh." Is all I said.
"Hey guys, I think we should get going." Devyn suggested since it was getting quite late for all of us to be out especially in this area.
