CHAPTER 6

"You look extra chirpy today! What is up with you, girl?"

I couldn't stop smiling. Last night was overwhelming. I was having a hard time to stop that creepy smile from making its way to my idiotic face but I can't help it. For the first, he confessed that he loves me. HE LOVES ME. CHASE LOVES ME. I was on the ninth cloud. I was crushing on him from childhood and never thought that he had the same feelings for me since then.

Last night feels like a dream. His touch is so addictive. He made me feel like it was long ago decided that, I belong to him not to mention his over possessiveness. I wish I had kind of possessiveness in me before. So, I could swipe out all his making out with those stupid girls.

I wish he was here.

"Are you day dreaming about Chase?... Of course you are! He might have said something cheesy and you are so ready to melt over it. Stop being stupid Daisy."

This is the reason; I'm not ready to tell anyone else about our relationship. He didn't ask me to be his girlfriend but whatever he said that proves he wants me, and that's enough for me to trust him.

To say that Lydia hates Chase wouldn't be wrong. I don't know why but she had another level of hater towards him. That was, way too much mysterious in itself, if you ask me! Because Chase had a charm like Casanova, nobody can escape or resist him. And to hate him was something forbidden with his innocent smile.

Dad doesn't like her either. But he doesn't, like people in general, so can't tell the difference in there. But my gut feeling says not to mention about our last night encounter to her.

"Fine, don't talk. You are soon going to lose your one and only friend if you keep doing that". I didn't say anything. She was acting all pissed up more than usual. And finally we reached school; I could feel her hostile behavior making me a little upset. But I didn't want to talk to her.

Chase was missing. Big time missed. His usual crowd was laughing among themselves then they saw me all of them give me a friendly smile and nodded. They never acknowledge the presences of Lydia with me. I don't know why but, I'm observing all this things, all of a sudden.

The class is way too much boring and I miss chase. I have been texting him constantly, but he was not replying to any of them. He never makes me wait to pick up the call but today it was on answering mode for some odd reason. "Don't Chase the Chase, I will be back soon" he and his bad joking skills.

I better call Liam. After several tries I was sure, so nobody was answering my calls and when I inquired about where he is in the school, they all just laughed and said he is maybe at home with his beloved bed. I could feel something is really fishy about this entire ordeal.

Something was not right with Miss Attention seeker. She was way too much happier than I ever seen her and the fact that Chase was missing his classes, something must have happened between them.

But what??

Lydia is useless, she haven't yet figured it out the reason behind Daisy's blissful face. And looking at Beth I'm quite sure she might have forgotten even her own name staring at her manicured nails. I have to work with such a useless team.

My only hope lies in Ethan. If he also fails, I'm gonna go, all the way to destroy whatever they both have built up between them. Chase and Daisy could never happen, and i will never let them cross the distance between them. Or Daisy has to suffer for all the pain I took to clear everyone out of my way to get my Chase. He is fucking only mine!
