After the encounter, Taeyong couldn't forget what happened about it. When he came home, he immediately went upstairs and into his room. He kept squealing against the pillow on his bed and tried erasing his embarrassment. Jaehyun will totally think he's weird.
He hugged his pillow and stared at nothing. His mom was worried about his son looking so lifeless. But Taeyong told her that he was just tired from school. After dinner, he took his bath and slept.
Morning came and Taeyong barely got any sleep. Despite having the lack of sleep, he stood up from is bed and got into the bathroom. After he took his shower, he wore his uniform and went downstairs.
He saw his mother preparing breakfast. He quietly sat and waited for his mother to finish.
"Good morning, Yongie," his mother greeted with a smile as she kissed his head.
Taeyong flashed a smile at her, 'Is dad here?' he asked, using his language.
His mother shook her head, "Not yet. But he did promise to come home by next week."
Taeyong just nodded and starts eating his breakfast. His dad is currently on a business trip and his mother was left in the house to look over at Taeyong. Taeyong doesn't have any sisters or brothers, or anyone that could look over him. Besides, his parents are the only ones that understands him the most and he's happy to have his parents.
As soon as he finished, he kissed his mother's head before leaving the house. They have a car to use and his mother always wanted to drive for Taeyong, but his son wanted to walk since the school isn't that far.
As soon as he arrived, Jungwoo was already waiting for him near the school's entrance. After Jungwoo saw him, the male ran up to him and hugged him very tight. Taeyong tapped his shoulder, a sign that he was suffocating his friend. Jungwoo pulled away and flashed his smile.
"Morning!" Jungwoo greeted.
Taeyong smiled back and nodded.
They walked together into the school's campus. There were a few students walking on the hallways, yet it wasn't that much since it is still early. Both of them stopped infront of their lockers as they get their stuff needed on their class.
They walked along the long hallway. They saw students huddling at one place and checking out the posters that were plastered on the announcement board. Taeyong tugged Jungwoo's shirt and pointed where the students were. Both of them decided to check it out.
They waited until some of the students were gone before they check the board. It was full of posters about clubs for various subjects and sports.
"Where are you going to join?" Jungwoo asked.
Taeyong hummed and shrugged without glancing at Jungwoo.
"I'm planning to join in theater, you might want to join with me?"
His friend looked at him like he was saying how stupid he was.
'You might be forgetting that I can't sing.'
He replied in his language.
Jungwoo rolled his eyes, "Then you can join in the dance club."
Taeyong shook his head. He didn't have the confidence anyway. Also, he might just get fun of. He was thinking about not joining into clubs. His mother needs him to be at home when class ends. But she also wants him to experience everything in college.
"You might want to be a student assistant?" Jungwoo asked as he pointed at the poster that about students assistants.
Taeyong looked at him and saw different departments that are in need of student assistants. Mainly, clinics and libraries are in need of student assistants. Since Taeyong wanted to stay away from other students, he decided to be in both places.
'I'll be in both.'
"Can you do it?"
'Of course.'
After class, Jungwoo goes straight to the gymnasium for the audition. For Taeyong, he walked along the hallway to the library. He met the librarian and she told him to fix the books that were left by students on the tables, as well as in trays.
Taeyong started to do his job and it wasn't much of a hassle. It was quiet and peaceful. Students were peacefully reading their novels and textbooks. He also managed to clean up by placing the chairs back in place and papers were scattered around. Honestly, it wasn't a hard job to do. He was used to doing these kind of stuffs at home, and he usually stay at the library to read novels and textbooks.
Soon, the librarian let him go since he did his job nicely.
Since his job at the library just took him an hour, Taeyong strides his way to the clinic. He greeted the nurse with a nod and smile. He wrote his words on a piece of paper for the nurse to understand him well. As soon as the nurse finished reading, he told Taeyong to clean up the beds and the clinic.
And he did. Taeyong was also lectured about the medicines in the cabinet.
The nurse soon left him since he was needed in the principal's office. Taeyong was all alone. It was quiet and peaceful until someone came in.
"Is the nurse here?"
Taeyong froze when he heard a voice of a man. He was inside a section as he was cleaning the bed. He didn't know if he should go out and ask what he needs or not.
"Hello?!"
Taeyong bit his lower lip before slowly coming out of the blue curtains. And he saw Jaehyun. Jaehyun sees him too. His face was all annoyed before the guy from the cafeteria and restroom showed up.
Taeyong couldn't help but blush. Jaehyun was wearing his jersey, maybe he was in tryouts for the basketball team.
"New nurse?" Jaehyun asked.
Taeyong avoided his gaze as he shook his head. He took a piece of paper and wrote something.
'I'm just a student assistant. What seems to be the problem?'
"I think I just sprained wrist," Jaehyun answered. He was curious why the guy wrote instead of saying it.
Taeyong directed him to seat on the chair. He sat infront of him and pointed at both of his wrist, asking if which one of his wrists is sprained. But Jaehyun just raised one of his thick eyebrows. Taeyong felt embarrassed. He wrote his words in the piece of paper again.
"Oh, it's this," Jaehyun said as he raised his right hand.
Taeyong gently touched his wrist and saw if Jaehyun was wincing or not. Thankfully, he wasn't. Taeyong asked him by writing in the piece of paper again if it was painful whenever he adds pressure his wrist.
Jaehyun shook his head, "But it is a bit painful."
The student assistant nodded before standing up from his seat to get some painkillers. He gave Jaehyun the medicine and told him to lay down on the bed to rest. Jaehyun did, he wants to take a nap anyway.
But he was surprised when the assistant held his wrist. Jaehyun saw how large his hand compared to the guy. It was adorable. Taeyong tried to gently massage his wrist. He knew what to do whenever someone is sprained, it came mostly from his mother. Afterall, both of his parents are doctors.
After that, he left Jaehyun to rest.
