INSATIABLE

Chapter One

BLAKE

I stared at Anna who sat across me at the table wondering how beautiful she looked in that mint green off shoulder dress she was wearing. Everyone  at the restaurant couldn't stop staring at her because she looked stunning. I love this woman and i can't believe i am about to ask her to marry me. I'm so nervous but i know the proposal was long overdue because she had been the only and most supportive person in his life since he met her four years ago.

I couldn't help but wonder if i really was ready to get married to Anna. I mean don't get me wrong, Anna is such a lovely woman and she has every qualities that is required in a woman but...i just can't ignore the nagging feeling in my heart telling me that what i felt for her just wasn't enough to spend the rest of my life with her.
I could remember once my best friend Jace pointed out to me that he noticed Anna had more of the feelings than i do, I couldn't argue with him because a part of me knew he was right but what kind of man would i be to let go of a woman who had been with me through my ups and downs and even has sacrificed her dreams and education just for him to get the best education to become the great and wealthy man he has become today.

I was broke out of my thoughts when i heard Anna's soft voice asking me if i was okay.

'Blake are you alright? Anna asked

Uhhh yeah baby i am okay. Let's order for our meal' I said while picking up the menu on the table and opening it and glancing through absent mindedly.

'Are you sure you are alright Blake, you've been acting cold since we got here. I know it's been a long day at work but i really was looking forward to having a peaceful and romantic night with you after the long week we both had' Anna said

I'm fine Anna i just uhhh feel a little tired but i assure you that it wouldn't affect our date tonight' I replied giving her a smile smile.

Calling on to the waiter, we order our meal and after he left i turned to Anna asking ' What do you think about the proposal we got from Blackhourne company, i mean don't you feel it's a little strange that they are willing to pay such amount of money?'

'I think it's a great opportunity for us to expand our business, we have strong lawyers to defend us if anything happens. Let's not bother about their intentions for now' Anna replied

  We talked for a few more minutes about work before our food was brought and then we started eating. It became silent again until we finished our meals.

Anna is a great woman but sometimes i feel she is too boring because we never have fun conversations aside from work and how to make the company better. I didn't mind though but i feels we should sometimes take a break from work and try to have fun and talk about other things.

Sighing to myself i then requested for the check, payed and left the restaurant with Anna walking fast ahead. It seem like she was upset about something and i just was too tired at that moment to bother about whatever made her upset.

We drove back home in an awkward silence and immediately we got inside the house, she went straight to the bedroom without sparing me a glance.

I walked into the bedroom and heard the the shower running which meant she was having her bath. I undressed and waited for her to finish so i could also use the bathroom. She came out a few minutes later with a towel wrapped around her body.
I couldn't help but notice how hot she looked at that moment and i suddenly felt like bending her over the dresser and fucking the anger out of her.
I stood up from the bed and stalked closer to her, i grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer to me making her gasp in surprise.

Are you upset? I asked her

Silence

Anna? I called

Silence

Baby?

Silence

'I'm sorry about my attitude at the restaurant, i was just a little tired and i really just wasn't feeling the moment' I said to her

'Blake you know how much I look forward to our dinner dates because it's the only time I get to spend with you outside of work' Anna finally responded

I'm sorry baby' I said smiling brightly at her and I'm looking into her eyes she smiled back at me nodding her head. I knew she forgave me already

'You look ravishing having just that towel wrapped around you' I said ' But you will look more sexy with the towel off your body. I said grinning widely at her

I then unwrapped the towel off her...
