~Chapter 10~

Lucas's P.O.V~

My siblings had to go back home since it was getting late. I hoped they wouldn't get into too much trouble because of me.

I loved how me and Asher always cuddled at night, even from the beginning, and even though it may seem weird to do it, and it should have been weird, to do it so soon, It wasn't.

My insomnia seemed to have backed off since I started curling up with Asher. Actually, all my disorders seemed to be retreating from the depths of mind, though not without a fight. Everytime I woke up to the warmth of Asher's body against mine, I couldn't help but smile a tiny bit. Whenever I wake up it always takes a couple seconds for me to.. adult again.

There were feather light tickles against my face and I giggled and squirmed, trying to shake the strange warm pressure from off of me.

"Morning baby" Asher said, and I slowly blinked my eyes open to see a shirtless Asher hovering over me with a giant grin on his face, which made my cheeks heat up

"Morning" I smiled back up at him

"We're gonna go into the office today. You've still got a couple hours to be ready to leave" Asher said

"W-we?" I stuttered

"Yup. I'm gonna show off my pretty baby to everybody. They're gonna be so jealous, but you're all mine" He kissed the tip of my nose and I giggled again

Asher got up, grabbed some clothes from the closet, and then walked into the bathroom to take a shower. I got up from my comfy position on the bed and started walking downstairs, slipping once on my fuzzy socks and almost landing on my butt, but managing to steady myself.

I walked downstairs and was surprised to see that the others had finally gone back home to their apartments. I rubbed a hand down my face and started walking into the kitchen to make some coffee and hopefully wake myself up more.

I walked over to the couch in the living room and turned on the tv, hoping to find something to entertain me, and found a kind of vulgar cartoon

I was really invested in the show. I was on the second episode when Asher came downstairs dressed in some black dress pants and a white button up with the sleeves rolled up and a baby blue tie hanging loosely around his neck. He sat next to me and pulled me into him so I rested against him, but I never took my eyes off the Tv

"What are you watching-? What in the world.." he trailed off from his question once he saw what was on the screen, then looked down at me "It's time to get ready baby. We're leaving soon"

I nodded and got off the couch, giving Asher a quick peck on the lips before making my way upstairs

I had a quick shower then put on some black ripped capris, a white t shirt, and a black beanie with some sandals before walking downstairs where Asher was talking on the phone

"-be there in like 30 minutes" Asher said

I gave him a curious look and he mouthed "Sam"

"Hey Sam" I stood on my tip-toes and said into the phone

"Hey kiddo" Sam said, and I walked over the kitchen counter to grab my phone before we headed out to the car

"Yeah, see you soon" Asher finished and hung up the phone as we slid into the limo

"Where to Master Asher?" Emmett smiled at me and I smiled back

"Starbucks, then Green Corp." Asher said, and Emmett nodded before he put up the divider

"Your dad's working today" Asher said pulling me to him so I was straddling his waist, and I nodded

"I know"
