you, george and your little boy laid in a cuddle on the sofa. the lion king played on the tv, the popcorn had slightly spilled out of the bowl and the three of you had blankets covering all of you.
you looked to your husband, and then to your son. the life you had always dreamed of was right beside you. george ezra barnett was your soulmate, together now for twelve years. bry ezra barnett, your other soulmate in a different sense of the world was only four years old. but your son was yours and george's pride and joy; your everything.
you always felt a little overwhelmed when you thought about your life. even though george wasn't home everyday, you were lucky if he was home for a month at a time, amy time he was home it was like nothing was different. he never missed any of bry's milestones: the first steps, the first word etcetera. he was the best father you'd ever lived to know and it made you feel all the luckier that your life was so successfully put together.
it was a dream happening in reality.
