It was a bright, sunny day in Beach City. Everyone was out, trying to find something to do. Some were at Funland, other's were at the beach. You, on the other hand was inside of your house.
You let out a soft sigh as you watched a group play. "I wish I had those kinds of friends.." You mumbled under your breath. After a while, you felt like a creeper and decided to stop. You did have friends, just they were online and far away from where you were. You had a few here, although, you never really bothered them. Most of the time they had to come to you if they wanted to hang out.
(Steven's P.O.V.)
I was walking towards (Y/N)'s house. I hadn't seen her in a while! Garnet tagged along as well, she wanted to see her. Garnet stayed quiet as we reached the house, knocking on the door. After a few moments, we heard shuffling and groaning. Garnet and I patiently waited as the door opened. She looked up from the floor, offering a small smile. "Hey Steven." She then looked up at Garnet, a faint pink raising onto her cheeks. "Hey G-Garnet.. What brings you guys here?" I was about to say something until Garnet spoke. "We were coming over here to check on you, (Y/N).. We haven't seen you in a while.." She spoke softly as (Y/N) frowned a bit. "I know.. I'm sorry.." She moved aside, offering us to come in.
Garnet shook her head. "No. You're coming with us.." She knew something wasn't right. (Y/N) never really acted like this. She was more happy, loving and cheery. What could be going on? "W-What? Why?" She asked Garnet, twiddling with her fingers. Garnet looked at her. "Because.. We want to spend time with you.. I- We miss you." Garnet went quiet after that, keeping her usual poker-face. I nodded in agreement. "You're coming whether you like it, or not. You need some fresh air, (Y/N)." I said, crossing my arms.

I let out a sigh in defeat. "Fine.. At least come in, so I can change." There was no point in arguing, they won all the time. Mainly, because of Garnet. I know that I'll never have a chance with her, so I might as well give up. I had fallen in love with her whenever Steven and I first hung out. I was intrigued by the gems. Garnet was the one who caught my eyes and my heart.
I was soon changed. I walked out of my room, entering where the other two were. They stood up, waiting for me. I offered them a small, yet fake smile. With that we began walking to the Temple, Garnet right behind me.
~Timeskip~
It had only been a few hours of being there and they were already making me feel better. I felt less depressed than I have been. I didn't want this to end. Garnet didn't speak much, but her and I would make eyes contact quite often.
At the moment, Steven and I were watching Crying Breakfast Friends. Steven turned his head towards me as he opened his mouth to speak. "Hey, (Y/N)? I want to ask you something.." He spoke quietly, making sure no one else heard. "What's up?" I asked, looking at him. "Garnet was telling me that she saw you in her future.. In a.. Good way.." He paused for a moment. "How do you feel about Garnet?" He asked, causing my cheeks to heat up. "To be honest.. I really like her.. Don't tell her that.. But I know that I don't have a chance with her.." Garnet see's me in her future? What for? I thought for a moment. "Did she tell you more details?" Steven shook his head. "No.. But you should talk to her about it." He said with a smile. I nodded. "I'll be right back.."
I got up and walked down the stairs, walking towards her door. "Garnet.. Can I come in?" I asked, waiting. The door opened as she stood there, looking at me. She nodded as she moved aside quietly. "Come in." I nodded as I walked in. I sat down on her bed, looking at her as she sat beside me. "I already know what you're going to ask." She smiled lightly. "I- Oh.." I spoke softly as she let out a soft chuckle. "How I see you in my future is.." She paused for a moment. "There are many possibilities.. And a lot of them have a bad outcome.. That can be avoided. That's why I invited you here.." She looked down as she took off her visor. "I know I don't talk to you a lot.. But that's because I don't know what to say.. You mean a lot to me.. You mean a lot to Ruby and Sapphire.. We don't want anything happening to you." She spoke as tears streamed down her face.
I frowned as I looked at her. "I'm sorry.." She looked up at me as I thought for a moment before wiping her tears away. "Please don't cry.." I spoke softly as she placed my hand on her face softly. "I see the outcomes of you ending your own life because of how much you're hurting.." She spoke, looking into my eyes. "I want to change that.. I want to make your hurt go away.." She cupped my cheek, leaning in a bit. She placed her forehead against mine. "I love you, (Y/N)." Never forget that. You are loved." She placed her lips against mine as I wrapped my arms around her neck. We laid down as she held me close. That was the first time in a while that I had slept well. I felt loved and wanted.
