Character List

Tavi Torres- Started off as a girl that spoke her mind no matter who she was talking to. Had her little clique until her clique turned into a duo after a fall out with one of them. She’s a mother now and her attitude and character has changed, some may say for the better and others may say for the worse. She grew up without her father, but her childhood was fairly nice. Living a middle class life she’s gotten everything she wanted. Tavi is still young and is still trying to find the woman she’s suppose to be. She’s never been in a relationship and frankly doesn’t know how to be. The one person she does want to be with will try to be with everyone else but her. She’s trying to work on herself though, before she starts to work on anyone else.

Shayne Livingston- Well known drug pusher. Has a harsh reputation that he’s been struggling to maintain, but with him being brought up by his father he’s never had a care in the world for anyone’s feelings or anyone for that matter. His mom “died” when he was younger due to her prostitution so he was in and out of group homes until his dad found him and made him the person he is today. He’s a loving dad and a very financially supportive person to the mother of his child. Danger always seems to make its way in Shayne’s life and although he’d rather keep Tavi out of it, it finds it’s way to her too. That’s why he wants to keep his distance from her to keep her safe.

Rasia Cephus- She’s a very miscellaneous kind of person. She’s a mixture of everything and you never know which Rasia you’ll be getting when dealing with her. She dates a well known drug dealer and she’s also the mother of his child. Her relationship with her mom has always been the kind that everyone wants. She grew up with her mom, and her brother and she loved the relationship she had with both of them. Now that she’s a young mother she’s seems to be on her own. Her boyfriend Chris is her support and she couldn’t see herself without him.

Kirshnik “Chris” Ball- Grew up around all females and had to prove to others that he wasn’t “a punk” because he’s grown up with all his sisters. He becomes a drug dealer and any person that’s ever doubted him is now afraid of him. He still has that soft spot because he’s grown up around girls so he’s not as ruthless as most. He’s most definitely a momma’s boy and now his mom hates that she has to share him with someone else. Never being in touch with his feelings he often finds him self denying the love he has for his girlfriend. He’s scared to take it to the next level with her and having his mom in his ear about it only makes it worse for him to make a decision.

Mariah Tinsley-Often misunderstood. She’s only a girl that knows what she wants and goes after it as hard as she can not caring about who’s in the way. She strikes people as “Evil” but in all honesty she’s just getting what she wants. She’s had a past with Shayne Livingston and found her way back into his life only to mess things up for him.

Jasmine Tinsley- Cousin’s with Mariah, and ex best friends to Rasia and Tavi. She’s in the middle of drama and never tried to find her way out of it. She’s just another person who always put their “two cents” into someone else’s business.

Gloria Torres- Mother of Tavi. She tried to her best ability to give Tavi a good life even though she didn’t have a father. She succeeded at that but failed when Tavi did the same thing Gloria did when she was younger and that was get pregnant. She knew how it felt to be alone and didn’t want her daughter to go through that so she remained by her side. She’s been a workaholic her whole life and was unable to have a social life of her own, but after Tavi graduates she moves to the next level with her principle Mr. Moore.
