Chapter 98: Let Her Out

Hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala sa mga nangyari noong isang araw.

I never thought that Tita Eliana will come this far. I understand her anger pero hindi ko mapigilan magalit sa kanya dahil sa pagtatangka niya sa mga anak ko. Apo niya ang mga dinadala ko. Isn't she bothered by that even for a bit?

"Let's pack your things. I've decided that we'll stay in Casa Gandia until we have figured this one out. Mas safe roon dahil may mga securities" Blaise said at siya na mismo ang nagbukas ng cabinet namin.

I sighed heavily. "Do you think that it's a good idea? Nandun.. ang mommy mo"

"She's not there. Ipinakulong ko siya for kidnapping and attempted murder"

My eyes widened at that at natakpan ko ang bibig ko dahil sa gulat. Tama ba ang narinig ko? Nakakulong si Tita Eliana ngayon? At siya ang nagpakulong?

Tumayo ako mula sa pagkakahiga ko at pinigil siya sa paglalagay ng damit ko.

"Don't you think that it's just too much? Babe, she's still your mom" I said worriedy at him because despite of everything, it won't change the fact that Tita Eliana is his mom.

Tumigas ang anyo niya and his eyes became colder. "I can't just sit and shut up pagtapos nang ginawa at gagawin niya sa'yo. Kung nagkataon na nahuli kami ng kaunti, hindi ko na maisip kung ano ang maaari naming datnan dun" he freed from me at ipinagpatuloy ang page-empake. I just sighed heavily. He's fuming mad right now and I know that there's nothing I could do to change his mind.

He cupped my face and made me look at him. "I don't want you to worry about that so please, hayaan mo na lang ako"

Casa Gandia is very different from it's usual aura. It's more quiet and intense now. Hindi naman na nakapagtataka yun considering what happened yesterday.

"I'm sorry, hija" grandpa said as he hugged me. Hindi ako sumagot because I am not quite sure what to say. I am actually more worried na maaapektuhan siya sa mga nangyayari. He's old yet strong but we'll never know.

When he parted from me saka ko lang napansin si Tito Franz who's sitting cooly on the couch. He smiled weakly and nodded his head.

"I figure that the safest place for us right now is here. Don't worry, hindi rin naman kami magtatagal dito" Blaise said

"You can stay here as long as you want at hindi ko kayo pipigilan. Mas pabor pa nga sa'kin na dito na lang kayo" it was gran who said that as he looked at me lovingly.

"I'm not quite sure about that, gran. Aakyat na muna kami sa taas at aayusin ang mga gamit namin"

Tanging pagtango na lang ang nagawa ko because Blaise then started to pull me away from them with two of their maids behind us na dala ang mga gamit namin.

"I'll take it from here. Salamat" he said when we have reached the door of his bedroom. He pushed the door opened at pinauna ako na pumasok.

It seems to me na nakapagsabi na siya na darating kami because the way I see it everything is in order.

The last time I was here ay yung kami pa nun when we were highschool. It was during Christmas. Dinala niya ako rito to show me his baby pictures.

Nothing much really change here aside from the fact na mayroon ng Jacuzzi on the other side of this room that a sliding glass door seperates it.

"Do you wanna have a quick dip there or you'd rather rest? Anyway, we'll go to your doctor tomorrow. I want to make sure that you and our kids are safe" he curled his arms around my waist as he kissed my shoulder and caressed my tummy.
