Clinging To Hope

You came back to traverse town, hoping to run into Sora, or maybe find Riku and Kairi.

After taking a good long look around town you sat by the fountain, staring at the stars. "You guys are out there...right?" You asked with a deep frown on your face

You closed you eyes and you found yourself back on the island. The soothing sound of crashing waves, the smell of salt hanging in the air.

"Day dreaming?" A voice asked from behind you. You turned your head to see Sora grinning down at you

"Yeah." You nodded as he sat down next to you.

"I...I missed you." You admitted as you pulled your knees to your chest.

"I'm not really him, you know." He said before looking at you "The real me is out there right now, looking for you. Don't give up." He said as he took one of your hands in his

"Im afraid to face you...I remember so much now.." you mumbled and he gave your hand a light squeeze

"You're still you."

You went to look up but right as your eyes met his face you came back to reality

"Right... Don't worry, we'll find each other..right, Sora?" You asked with a small smile on your face as your gaze returned to the stars

>OPTIONAL KAIRI SCENE<
You sighed and shook your head sadly. While you've been traveling you of course thought of your friends...but one of then kept popping into your head. Her bright red hair and deep blue eyes were burned into your brain. She was your best friend...but could It be possible that maybe you wanted more?

"Kairi...please tell me, where can I find you?" You asked as you stared at the sky, your mind filled with thoughts of your redheaded friend.

"Your voice always used to be there...now its gone..I-I wanted to tell you that I..." you clenched your fists as your eyes watered

All you could think of was her smile and her pretty eyes. Thinking of her made you feel warm inside

"We'll be together again, I promise."

You spent the next few moments with your head filled with special memories of a very special girl

>OPTIONAL RIKU SCENE<
"Riku...can you hear me?" You whimpered as you spoke to the stars

"I've been to so many places...I-I've made lots of new friends too!...and met some old ones.." you played with your hands in your lap

"B-But they could never replace you...never." You took a deep breath, his face coming into your mind

"I know who I am now— well, mostly...I guess it'll be like meeting each other all over again, huh?"

You shook your head and took out the wooden Paopu charm he made you "Riku...I'll find you. I promise."

You heard a rustling sound to your left, pulling you from your thoughts and making you turn you head.

Your eyes landed on a heartless, just staring at you. "Thats weird...they're never really on their own.." you mumbled with a tilt of your head before summoning your keyblade

As you approached it, you could feel a presence behind you. You immediately realized your mistake.

Before you could turn around, you felt an impact to the back of your neck and everything went black

You let out a groan and your eyes fluttered open. "Huh? Ow..my head.."

You looked around to see you were in a cabin on a ship. You knew it was a shit from the salty smell of the sea and the water gently rocking the boat. You were laying on one of two beds, the other seemed to have a person on it

"Hm?" Your eyes widened and you leapt out of bed as your eyes landed on their red hair

HELLO HELLO! Sorry for my absence, I've been really contemplating how to move forward and make this story better!  So chapter 13 is very short, BUT the next four are super special! Why? Because one will be a regular chapter 14 with NO LOVE INTEREST. But the other three, one will be a Kairi one, one for Riku, and one for Sora. I'm so excited!!!! :D mk
