You're begging me to stay,

Even when you've heard me say,

"I'm sorry but I want to part ways."

But then you answered "Please just stay for another day."

Yes, I still have feelings for you.

I just couldn't do it for I'm the opposite of new.

Indeed, I gave up and that is the cue.

For I can feel that what's left of me is just a few.

It hurts to leave you alone,

Right now I'm starting to feel it through my bones,

You could even hear and feel my frightened tone,

Even when I'm just imagining myself gone.

Yes, I'm choosing to leave you behind.

Not because someone new is on my mind,

Its just I want to be free from this bind,

And to save the lost me that took me ages to find.

I'm sorry that I have to leave,

I'm sorry for letting you anticipate what we could have achieved,

Cause even I did expect and believed.

But I don't want to lose the spark that I just retrieved.

So in the end..
