In the distance, I heard a helicopter coming closer. I looked over and of course it was a news chopper. I started to stand up, but Darien was quicker than me at that moment. He lifted me up from the pool and took me inside the suite. Parro and Angelic each had our towels and started to towel off my wings as he walked. Darien sat me down on the couch facing a big screen TV, so I was away from the full view of the news chopper.

I don't know why but I started to cry. The sound of the chopper was making me cry. My wings draped to the floor and I just cried. Darien hugged me to him as I cried into the towel that was around him. I felt him turn away from me. "Its alright. The doctor said this could happen sometimes after her dizzy spells. She is fine, just a bit emotional. Its because her body is trying to adjust. Everything must be overwhelming for her too."

I felt a small hand start to pet my hair as they sat down behind me. "Oh my lady." Angelic was trying to help sooth me.

I heard the chopper circle a few times before leaving. As the sound faded so did my tears and my sobs. I laid my head on Darien's shoulder and hiccuped twice. "I'm sorry." My voice was mournful about crying so intently.

"Shh..." He and Angelic still soothed me for a minute. "I have a treat for you if your up for it."

"A treat?" My voice was a bit happy and wanting a treat. I had a bit of a sweet tooth right now.

"Yes. I called my assistant this morning while you were in the shower. I had an idea for something you may like to have. Karen picked it up and delivered it while we were in the doctor's. Would you like it?"

I would like it but I did not want to saw I wanted it. I bit my lip contemplating if I should let him treat me or not.

"I can feel you do want it." Darien spoke into my ear with a joyous tone to his voice. He knew me so well. He knew he had triumphed. Darien rose and went into the kitchen and opened the fridge. I watched as he got several plates down from the cabinet. He turn to us. "Does anyone else want any?"

"Actually Angelic and I should be going." Parro said from behind me. Angelic pouted to him. "We need to patrol." He said to Angelic who sighed and got up. She honored me and left with Parro.

"What about you Sky? Would you like some?" Darien asked as he put two plates back into the cabinet.

"I don't know. I don't want to impose." Sky was shifting unsteadily near the end of the couch.

"That would be a yes, so you should have a seat." Darien smiled over his shoulder at the boy who timidly sat down. Within moments Darien was bringing out the plates with his treat. He first handed me mine and I saw he had my absolute favorite desert of all time, tiramisu. And the one from my all time favorite shop. Squisito. It was run by a family who were two generations removed from Italy, but has kept to keeping their values strong.

The light texture and silky taste of the tiramisu was exactly what I was feeling right now. The sweet intense taste of the espresso soaked lady fingers with the contrast with the creamy cream and the cinnamon was sublime. I reveled in the taste. I saw Sky liking it too like he had never had it before.

Sky thank us for the treat and turned to leave. "Where are you staying?"

"I was just going to perch somewhere and watch the stars my lady."

Darien crossed the room to Sky. "You can always stay here, though all we have to offer is a couch. But I think Angel Kat can vouch to say that the couches are very comfortable." I nodded to Sky who looked over at me timidly.

"You both are too kind. I don't know."

"Would it make you feel better if I order you to accept our offer?" I playfully added for his benefit.

Sky smiled shyly at that. "If you don't mind me staying here, then I would be honored and I would be ashamed if I didn't accept." For the first time Sky removed his bag and dropped it on the couch over looking the city. I looked to Darien. "Do you mind if I could use your shower? It has been days since I felt clean."

"Of course. This way." Darien came over to me and kissed me before showing our guest to the bathroom. Darien came back out and sat down. "I gave him a new pair of board shorts while I was showing him the bathroom. He was so happy to have another pair."

"You had board shorts?"

"Yeah. I barely ever wore them about two years ago when Darius decided he was kidnapping me and took me to learn surfing."

I shifted and sat on his lap with my arms around around his neck. "You can surf?"

"Not very well. Can you?"

"Never tried."

He smiled. "Would you like to?"

I shifted a bit. "Maybe... You getting an idea?"

His smile turned devilish. "Just thinking of possibilities for the honeymoon."

I raised an eyebrow. "Oh... Can I know? Or do you want to surprise me?"

He leaned forward. "You are to be surprised. Now I know something to add to our list of things to do." He placed his lips to my ear. "Though you won't need very much in the form of clothing if you get my drift." I giggled and then sighed as he started to kiss my neck. He growled as he stopped. "We can hold off for a little because of our guest. Can't we?" I nodded reluctantly.
