I am awash with a tender love / I nurture even after such times of delusion and heart- / ache / the longing I once felt / still burns ever so softly in my ribs /
I sit by the feeling / what can I do? I ask, / what must I do to help myself heal? / my heart descends into silent mourning and
I sleep within your memory / and call that living /
I am awash in the love that made a ruin of me /
I carry the weeping self as I walk onward / to, hopefully, / brighter times of ecstasy /
we will sit in our pool of tears / yearning for wonderland, where things of impossibility are the norm and / perhaps, / we would've been safe /
I would have done anything / to keep you safe in my loving embrace /
love you from miles away
