I remember the dazed days of pouring love into you, mi amor /
I remember how you loved when I called you so! / I remember the times I asked you to describe the way mother sky looked where you are / beaming down at your sullen face /
just so I could feel like I was there by your side / so close to you in every sense, expect physical /
all these memories /
come to me as if in a dream / of a different world entirely /
