Kori looks at his friend Matt "What's up?"
"Hey uh. Melissa's gonna be throwing this party tonight at her place. You coming?"Matt winks
"Uh no thank you. Movie marathon tonight with my family."She says as she takes her books
"Aww come on! Its time for both of us to meet some cute guys."Matt says
"I have a boyfriend Matt." "And...He's gonna be there too so more reason for you to come."Matt smiles
"I'll think about it."Kori says as she goes to class
On her way to class she sees Melissa talking to Byron. She starts to put her hands on his chest. Kori walks towards Byron and as Melissa sees Kori she quickly takes her hand off.
"What's going on?"Kori says "Oh nothing I was just wondering if a guys hear beat would be faster then a girls."Melissa smirks
"Hey chill Kori. It was only for science purposes."Byron says as she kisses Kori on her cheek and goes to class.
Home "Hey mom. I was wondering if I can go to this party tonight?"Kori asks
"Oh but what about movie marathon?"She says
"We do it every Friday. Come on please. Just this once?"Kori begs
"Alright. But no drinking, no drugs and no hands."She says
"Ok!"Kori goes to her room and calls Matt
"Hello?" "Hey, I uh change my mind I'm going." "What made you change your mind?"
"Today I saw Byron with Melissa and she was touching him. I want to keep a close eye on him." "Oh hell no girl. I told you he was a player"Matt says
"Yeah but we've been dating for 2 years. Then when junior year starts, he's beginning to be so distant and weird."Kori says
"I got your back girl. We gonna have a good night. Go put something sexy on to show him what he's missing."

"I'll pick you up in an hour"Matt hangs up

Kori looks out her window "Oh, it's Matt." She goes downstairs and out the door. She quickly gets in the car.
"Oooh girl you look bang-in"Matt squeals "Just drive."Kori laughs
They get to the house and hear the loud music. As Kori gets out the car she's starts to get nervous
"Hey uh you sure I didn't overdress?"Kori asks "Of course not. Come on. Let's go inside."Matt grabs kori's hand and goes inside
"Omg. Is that Mike. Since when did he get cute?"Matt asks "I'm gonna go talk to him"Matt says as he disappears in the crowd
Kori goes further into the house to find the bathroom. As she hears someone further in the hallway. She goes towards it and hears two people in a room. She opens it slightly and see Byron and Melissa making out.
"Byron!"Kori yells as she slams the door open They both glance up and Melissa starts to smirk
"What are you doing?!"She yells "It's not what it looks like ok.-" "How could you do this TO ME."Kori starts to cry
"Look let me talk to you."He says as he goes towards her
"No! We're done."She says as she walks away He grabs her wrist "Kori please I won't do it again.."
She snatches her arm away "don't touch me. We're done". She says as she runs out the house and walks home.
Kori opens the door and heads upstairs "Kori! What's wrong.."Her mother says
"It's Byron.. he- he cheated on me."She says crying
"Oh sweetie. I'm so sorry.."she says as she hugs her
"Your gonna get through this don't worry.."She says "Go take a nap ok hon."She says "Ok.."Kori says as she goes upstairs to sleep
3:45 a.m Kori wakes up as she smells smoke She goes out her room and sees everything on fire As she goes to the kitchen the fire goes to the oven And then it explodes
