This kid was driving me crazy and this horrific traffic wasn't helping one bit for me to calm down, in addition Tinashe kept messing with my radio, changing the music to songs she was the only one enjoying. After hearing Tank for two hours straight, I was more than tired of that dude. It was nothing personal, but I needed to hear somebody else's voice before completely losing my mind.

It was a couple of days later, RJ wasn't sick anymore and we were on our way to this new waterpark that opened about three days ago. Disney World wasn't completely out of the picture, but we decided that we were going towards the end of the month.

"And now, dad ? " He asked again as I gripped the steering wheel with all my strength, gritting my teeth. He was about to get that other side out of me and he won't like it.

I sighed, counting in my head so I wouldn't snap at him. "No." I simply answered, "and ask me that one more, next time you'll be able to see the sunlight will be in a very long time." I warned, seeing him open his mouth to speak again in the rearview mirror. "Now, sit your behind on that backseat and close your mouth ! "

He pouted and folded his arms, then looked out the window.

"Are you crazy ? Don't talk to my baby like that." Tinashe slightly hit my arm, "he's just really excited, don't kill the vibe."

I rolled my eyes and ignored her, "and if you touch this radio again, you're gonna live the rest of your life without your hands, so if I was you, I would think twice about it."

"Okay, what's wrong with you ? You're on some drugs or what ? We're supposed to have fun today, it's family time and not I'm angry and snap at everybody in the car day. Actually, you're being mad disrespectful. You better get rid of this funky attitude and get in better mood, or we can just go back home."

"Yeah, we're supposed to have fun." RJ gave his two cents in.

Since we were at a red light, I turned around to look at him with my brow raised, then at Tina. They were both pouting by now, making me feel bad, but I had my reasons to be mad.

I inhaled then exhaled, calming myself. Even though everything was pissing me off right now, they were right and I promised that we were going to enjoy today.

"Okay, sorry. For my defense though, I'm stressed right now and it's half both your fault. We'll get there when we'll get there, RJ and if I hear Tank hit that note one more time, I'm getting out of this car and I'ma walk back to my house."

"Well, communication is key. You could have said it sooner. We can change the music and RJ is gonna be more quiet. Right, baby ? "

He nodded his head, "I promise ! "

I smiled and immediately changed the music. Not even a minute later, Candy Rain started playing in the car. Old jam, and that's exactly what I needed to relax. RJ immediately began singing along.
