As soon as I arrived at T's house, I ran upstairs to take a shower and change my clothes. An hour later, I was cleaned up and was dressed in my briefs and black Adidas sweatpants.

I walked in Tinashe's room, stretching and thinking that I needed a massage. Depending on her mood today, I'll try to get it later.

"Hey, how was the tournament ? " She greeted, packing hers and RJ's bag.

See, if we were in a real relationship, we would've hugged and kissed, greeting each other like a real couple. But we weren't on that stage yet, and I'm not going to lie it was bothering me a bit.

I loved this woman with everything in me and I wanted to do nothing else but be able to show her that. At the same time, I had to understand that with everything we went through those past years, we had no choice but to give us some time to heal and recover.

"It was cool, even though my team didn't win. How was your day ? And how is feeling RJ ? " My little man didn't feel too well this morning when we woke up, so he wasn't able to come with me to the game.

"I called the bank and I have a meeting with an accountant the day after we'll be back from Disney World. And he's been sleeping all day."

"Do you think he'll be alright to take the plane tonight ? "

She shrugged, "I'm not too sure now. We'll see in like two hours." She checked her watch.

I frowned slightly, noticing the tone of her voice. She sounded sad and tired, "whats wrong with you ? Are you okay ? " I sat on the bed, moving some stuff around to get a good spot.

She let out an heavy sigh, stopping what she was doing as she dropped the piece of cloth she was holding on her bed. She scratched her forehead in a stressful manner and put her free hand on her hip, "building this case against my father turned out to be harder than I thought. And lately...I've been feeling some type of way about opening my own law firm. What if it's not for me ? I don't want to fail." She pouted as I wrapped my arms around her waist, bringing her to me.

"We can find somebody else to take the case, we just need someone that can truly be trusted. I'm sure Mr. Ignito wouldn't mind doing this on his own. And don't worry about your firm, you can do it. Don't question yourself. You got to this point in your life for a reason, and it's not for you to doubt yourself and give up right now. You have so much more to accomplish and I know that anything you'll choose to do, will be nothing else but a big success. Or maybe you feel this way because you want to change your path ? Either way, know that you have all my support."

She faintly smiled and hugged me, placing her head on top of mine as I hugged her back. "Thank you so much. I needed to hear that."

"Mommy ! I threw up and my stomach hurts. Hi, daddy." RJ appeared in the doorway, rubbing his eyes and still dressed in his pajamas, that had a bit of vomit on it.

"Hey, buddy."

"Wait for me in your bathroom, I'm coming." She told him as he nodded and went to his bathroom.

We pulled away before looking at each other and make eye contact, "well, Disney World will happen on another occasion." I said as we chuckled.

"Yes, let me go take care of my baby."
