A girl went missing while playing tagu-taguan in Sampaloc. One of the kids told the police that she saw the girl entered an abandoned house. Days were spent looking for the child but she was never found. The rest of the barangay moved on with their lives.
Twenty years later, in an attempt by the government to demolish the house, a woman was found in the same abandoned house, uncloth and frail. When asked about her background.
"Ang tagal niyo naman, ako na ba ang taya?" The first thing she said.
