As much as it sounds like I'm about to start criticizing you, I'm not. What grade are you in, if you're in one? Out of school already? Middle school, high school? As much as everything seems like a popularity contest right now, it's not. You're at school to study and get good grades so you can do what you want in life. You go out to the mall with your friends to have fun, not to make yourself look cool. You listen to the music you want, not 'cause it's what the cool people listen to, but because you listen to it and it makes you feel good about yourself. Again, life isn't a popularity contest. So if someone makes fun of you, fuck them. They don't matter. 'Cause in the end, you'll be your own person, and they'll be a clone of the person they're standing next to. Just 'cause you're different doesn't make you a freak. It makes you an individual. It makes you special. In fact, it makes you better than everyone else.
Don't be afraid to be your own person.
